What a beautiful, befitting gateway to the centre of commerce. The old, faithful MAKIA terminal (later facelifted Kwankwasiyya style) really needed to be retired after several decades. I expect that facilities for handling bulk air cargo were also provided to facilitate the export drive of the current administration. QuotaSystem: How well do u know Enugu? The second terminal building of Enugu Airport has been near completion since 2015. Same with other Airports, including this Aminu Kano Airport.  Buhari firing from all cylinders, baba go slow don vex, baba don turn go hyper fast like a bugatti PS: to the dunce congratulating useless jonadunce, Y'all know nothing about governance or are just being stupid, GEJ never released couterpart funding to chinese on this project, Buhari renegotiated the contracts term and fully paid couterpart funding for mobilisation of contractors even after Saraki was hell bent on cutting down the budget to reduce the funding and fustrate the project For almost 6 years Jonathan came to power all thanks to Obasanjo after Yaradua's demise , he presented budget 5 good times, and all the 5 times not once did his budget show commitment towards Obasanjo's abandoned projects or that of Yaradua, the chinese came and beg several times for couterpart funding on this project but stella oduah budgeted money for bullet proof bmw, and airport car pack she sold yo herself .. 18 Likes 1 Share |

A friend who works at the airport (FAAN) told me when I visited the airport earlier in the year, that Buhari has not added a single value to the current state and glory of Kano Airport. He told me pointedly that whatever I saw at the new terminal building and airport can be attributed to Jonathan, hence the credit goes to Jonathan and not Buhari. Petty mind will claim its GEJ achievement Petty mind will also claim its Buhari achievement The truth is that government is continum, I see no reason hailing these individuals, the rail modernization project was conceived and awarded by OBJ, GEJ did the first phase Abuja-Kaduna, Buhari is overseeing the second phase (Lagos-Ibadan).... Another President will definitely complete the other phases Ibadan-Kano and Lagos-calabar.
