Today, Oct 30th 2019, the Chairman/CEO of Innoson Vehicles, Chief Dr Innocent Chukwuma OFR signed a Contract Purchase Agreement with ED Ubong, the Managing Director of Shell Nigeria Gas Ltd. The signing of the agreement will see the supply of Innoson Vehicles to Shell Nigeria for its official and operational uses.

In his brief address, Chief Chukwuma stated that Innoson Vehicles being the first wholly indigenous and leading vehicle manufacturing company in Nigeria has established themselves as the leaders in major markets across Nigeria and West Africa due to its high safety standards, dynamic and exhilarating performance, ruggedness, durability, absolute reliability and affordable prices.

Today in Africa, we are witnessing a revolution in car manufacturing led by Innoson, to produce the best vehicles that meet International and Standard Organization of Nigeria standards.

In his speech, ED Ubong said Shell Nigeria over the years has shown the lead among its contemporaries on the patronage of local content. The MD futher recalled that this year, Shell emerged the International Oil Company with the most impactful Local Content Initiatives in the upstream category at the 2019 edition of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Opportunity Fair (NOGOF) held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State on April 4, 2019.

The Shell Nigeria Gas MD also stated that the company will not just patronize Innoson Vehicles but also help it to improve its quality and standard by constantly recommending areas for improvement.

The event also witnessed the cutting of tape which signifies the introduction of Innoson Vehicles as a vehicle supplier to Shell Nigeria Gas Ltd.

Our Akwa Ibom brothers are the closest Igbo will ever have in Nigeria.

We never one day hear dem say Igbo domination.

If Biafra come today, we are guaranteed they are coming with us, with little or no effect.

Compared to all the waivers and FOREX at favourable rates given to Dangote, care to tell me how your Nigeria has been the lifeblood of INNOSON to the extent that but for their support and patronage the motor coy would have been dead?

No doubt some federal agencies and one or two states outside the SE/SS have placed orders, but his business was nurtured and patronised mainly by the SE/SS!

Very Good. Innoson should market himself to private multinational cooperations in Nigeria to make him their company’s official vehicle supplier.

Those that swore that they will never buy innoson vehicle will soon be carried to their destinations by it safely.

I really wish more indigenous technological and engineering companies like INNOSON well supported by the government will spring up
