Rename??!... A painted monkey is still a bloody primate.

PDP needs to merge with smaller parties, pool resources, purge itself of corruption and pick a credible leader/flagbearer.
Then it ceases to be PDP.

LKO:
Politics is not one plus one equal two. Atiku contested against Buhari, an incumbent president and a very formidable northern figure. If the APC fields a southern candidate and PDP fields a Kwankwaso or a Tambuwal, would the teeming APC supporters in the north massively vote for APC? A northern friend of mine told me there are no APC supporters in the north, what they have are Buhari supporters. What about the born to rule mentality of the northerners? Interesting time ahead.
But you also think that if PDP still put a Northern forward in 2023 and APC put a Southerner forward that PDP will still get huge votes from the south?

Take it or leave it,2023 will be about region and religion.
It is make or break because I don't know how Christians will still support a Muslim from any part of the country after another Muslim (Buhari) finish 8 years.

Religion is the only thing that I even think will work against Tinubu for now and who ever Buhari raise his hand towards 2023 will still have support of at least half of Buharist in the north.

The North will vote for any southerner that Buhari lifts up his hand at a rally. That simple. If Osinbajo is that person, the middle belt and southern Kaduna fall in. SW falls 100% in. SS is divided but eventually mostly falls in.

If Amechi or Umahi is that person and with a popular Northern VP, SE/SS are in. North is in repaying favours and railways. SW is divided but advantage APC

Your analysis appear intelligent.

However, for me, what is important is for them to return all the monies they stole from Nigeria.

I feel ashamed for states that still allow the PDP to govern them.... except, of course, a state like Oyo, perhaps, where Seyi Makinde is being experimented.

Did you know that the PDP raised N27billion (N11billion more) for her National Secretariat Building valued at N16billion, yet the project is still uncompleted till date.

What a party! How does that sound? Like an armed robber robbed by another armed robber, right?
so tell us how APC is better..than PDP..so u are ashamed of PDP but not of APC..hypocrisy

PDP won Ondo State with Peter Obi an Igbo man on the ticket despite Osinbajo a Yoruba man being on the ticket.

Answer and be a confirm mumu

Oga, the reason is result. It's that simple.

Every Nigerian, including myself, can see and use the Abuja-Kaduna railway.

We can see and visit the sites of the Lagos- Ibadan rail project which will definitely be put to use early next year, especially as the locomotives and coaches have been purchased.

Maybe, you should visit and see ongoing works at the Itakpe-Warri rail project, 2nd Niger Bridge, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Benin-Sagamu, Apapa-Oshodi-Oworonshoki, Bonny-Bodo Bridge etc.

I deliberately focused on projects down South, to avoid any tribal emotion.

In case you care to know, more than 15 mechanized rice mills have been setup in Nigeria in the past four years, and Nigeria's rice production has jumped to nearly 6million metric tons annually.

So, save me the mediocrity.

The southern political ideology is that of progressive, but ur political your political warrior of the blessed memory(Awolowo) sabotaged the ideology, thereby aligning with the Northern elites in order to be recognized. It didn't stop there, Tinubu continued in that path and helped in boosting the voting strength of the north in 2015. Now he wants to come and use our brain, that he wants to be president. It will not happen, the North should continue to determine who becomes what in Nigeria for now, until you ( the Afonjas) retrace your steps in the right direction. Have you asked yourself why Afonjas are referred to as saboteurs?

I'm very sure you don't even know where you come from.......
Please do well to ask your folks about your lineage, do not be surprised you might as well be a descendant of Afonja too grin, you never know.

Please kindly enlighten me on the southern ideology?

the political truth is dis
prior to 2023 elections, APC would pick a southwesterner but a very weak one with a stronger northern (possibly NE) vice.
according to social media rants
PDP would pick a northern plus a southeast or southsouth ticket (foolishly)
everyone would think PDP would win cos its all north + SE\SS V SW.

but haven noticed northern voting pattern since 1999, the north and SW would massively vote APC again den the SE\SS would massively vote PDP (my people dont learn)
den middle belt states (8 of dem) would vote 50\50 but give APC more votes.
APC wins but north takes control as the SW person would be very weak with a strong northern vice.
the only thing dat can change d equation is if tinubu\osinbajo\fayemi tries to contest
den the reverse.

Nnamdi Azikwe preferred alliance with North in the First republic to alliance with the west.

SE voted NPN(Northern party) against UPN (southern party) in 1979 Shagari/Ekwueme. DG
SE voted Bashir Tofa against MKO in 93.

SE voted OBJ in 1999 because he was the Northern candidate

So who is the real saboteur here

It is a shame that Igbos have accepted that they are slaves by offering their 2023 presidential slot in PDP to the north. How can our people shake off this defeatist mentality that came with the civil war? It is pathetic.
It is not about defeatist mentality, it is about cold calculations and political realities. The North has the numbers. When Tinubu and his clique offered Buhari the 2015 ticket instead of fronting a Yoruba man,did he also have a defeatist mentality?
