You have a very good point there, for I have come to realize that the best way to preach to one's neighbors is via one's example.

I can't give my life to your son. your son was an idiot who thought he was you. worst part is that he refused to keep it to himself but kept shouting it all around Israel, insulting respected people everywhere even destroying a market one day like a demented fool that he is. He gathered 12 men who believed his claims and helped arranging miracles for him. His village people grew tired of his antics so they bribed Judas who knew your son na scam into selling your son to them. they beat the crap out of your son and hung him on the cross like a common thief. On the cross he realised his folly and asked why you forsook him and even begged for a particular cup to pass over his head or some senseless sheet when the beating got too much. He died there and the remaining 11 men then stole his body then claimed he rose on the third day to save your son from the embarrassment of having died like everyone else

If them see Muslims and other non Christians they will never approach them o!
But the moment they see fellow Christians who has already believed in Christ by virtue of that he is saved, they will open that their mouth and shout repent saying they are doing evangelism.

They give flyers for crusades and church services.

Some turn it to business.


Some "sell" their pastor (The man de see road well well) instead of preaching the Word

That a style of evangelism is effective in those does not mean we should stick to it and not evolve, now, you can reach a higher number by just typing a simple line on your status, it's about innovation as long as Jesus is projected to the world, that's evangelism

Cause the people trying to convert you are nothing to write home about when it comes to attitude and good behaviours so why would you wanna listen to them

The last time I travelled from Abuja to Lagos to spend just a week with my parents.. I saw many things both day and night in Lagos.. Some of what I saw is this preaching very early in the morning.. It was as if the preacher was directing his preach to a certain person in the community..

Funny thing, before I left back for Abuja, he was robbed and was heard crying for help.. I tried to help, my mother held me and said.. This is still Lagos.. I should not be surprised that the same preacher is a thief looking for prey they will eventually rob..

Lord chosen doesn't count with their aggressive evangelism

people still go but the perilous times we live and find self made everyone to be safety conscious........you may wake up by 4am or 5am to go for evangelism only to be rob of your phone, valuables or be killed....so the church preaching or home cells are enough now but the children of God will surely prevail!

Yes oh..in fact,a neighbour of mine was at my doorstep this morning to preach to me...but i no gree give her ear at all...it still baffles me till date why would someone want to convince a fellow christian to cross-carpet/decamp from his/her church to come and worship in his'/hers'....like say no be the same GOD we dey worship.

The preachers of today have focused on what the people want to hear especially in Nigeria where people don't work hard but believe in some grace and destiny helpers from somewhere.
