If Boko haram should overrun the Nigerian Army and surround Abuja, what do you think Buhari will do? You think he will sit in Aso Rock and wait for Shekau to walk in and shoot him dead so he can prove to Nigerians that he is a brave man who never runs away? No way!

I guarantee you that in that situation, Buhari will jump into a plane or helicopter and flyout of Abuja, for the simple reason that Buhari knows it will be silly and stupid for him to hand himself over to Shekau and Boko haram on a platter of gold

So it would have been better for Ojukwu to relax and let Nigeria kill him? Is that how bravery is proved?

Ojukwu fought for 3 years under difficult conditions, to free his people. Those who call him a coward for not staying back to be used for target practice by Nigerian Soldiers are the same people who have never fought for even 3 minutes for their freedom

I would rather be an Ojukwu who fought for freedom for 3 years, and ran away, than to be one the many spineless cowards in Nigeria who can never fight for their freedom for even 3 minutes
The same Ojukwu who got 10million of your lineage killed, roast and fed on

He didn't get them killed, it was Nigeria that did that. All Ojukwu wanted was to go his way with his people.

After all said and done, Nigeria turned out to be a huge disaster, which proved Ojukwu right

Those 2 million Igbos stayed back.
You have no idea what leadership is.
I bet you think Nnamdi Kanu is brave too.

For Ojukwu's people, it was better to stand up like a man and fight for freedom, no matter the cost, than to willingly roll over and become slaves because of the fear of fighting

That's why Ojukwus people bear no ill will towards him despite millions dying.

Freedom is one of the few things in life worth fighting and dying for

Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu your glorious tales will not be forgotten in Igbo land and nigeria at large. Of course the ewedu munchers will deny it but their predecessors know; if you know u know.

Hitler killed himself because he had no choice. It was either that or the Russians would done it.
Ojukwu was smart enough not to let his own situation get to that. Ojukwu gave it a good fight for 3 years and exited the scene when he could no longer continue
Ojukwu did go to the war front unlike gowon. We have heard how some soldiers complained about gowon drinking tea while Ojukwu was at the war front and for the record Ojukwu never wanted to leave, he was practically forced out by Biafra soldiers who did not want him captured alive.

Yes, but after a 3 year battle. At least Ojukwus people fought not be slaves. The rest of Nigeria rolled over, bowed and even joined the North to make sure everyone became their slaves, which is far worse.

It is better to fight for your freedom and lose than readily become a slave without a fight because you have no guts to fight

Ojukwu fought for the sovereignty of his people, but those who could not fight for their own sovereignty turn around call him a coward

It's only in Nigeria that you will see somebody who has never fought, will call the person who fought for 3 years, a coward.

The point still remains that those who he fought for their freedom are still slaves to the same north till now

stop explaining your self to people that dont have sense. Their definition of bravery is to kneel in front of a fellow general and beg for mercy. grin grin

After wasting 3millions of their kith and kins' lives fighting a pointless war, they still remain slaves to their perennial persecutors.

Better to fight for freedom and lose than to be you people who readily became slaves because you had no fight in you.

That's how the Northerners went to Ibadan, slaughtered the Governor of the Western Region, Lt Col Fajuyi. Then they proceeded to Lagos which you people claim to own, chased away your most senior officer, Brigadier Ogundipe, who was supposed to become the next president and made a much junior Gowon president.

And all you people could do was accept the dictates of the North because you had no Ojukwu who could stand up for you and say no to the North

But you guys, who wasted 3millions f your kins' lives prosecuting a futile war didn't finally accept the fulani's rule? Half a century after the fact, you all are still abiding by the laws of the northerners.

Even your eze gburugburu, after vowing to fight (the northerners) to a standstill later came back to feast on his pungent vomit by licking his master's a.r.s.e in the NPN.

Yes, we lost 3 million lives righting for our freedom. Freedom is one of the few noble things worth fighting and dying for on earth.

God knows you people will never be that noble or have that heart to fight for your own independent homeland. You people are just not made of that stuff

Fajuyi and Ogundipe will always be the historical testament to that.

I would rather be the one that fought against slavery and lost than be you people who readily accepted slavery, on the insult of Fajuyi and Ogundipe.

How come your tale telling did not start from from Igbos slaughtering the premiers of South and Northern region leaving only the Igbo premier of Eastern region and then top their blood thirst by brutally murdering the first democratically elected prime minister of Nigeria and in the barbarian style still dragged his lifeless body all over Lagos with many of their kinsmen jubilating at such gruesome bedevilment ?[/b]
There nothing such as south region. By the way, the premier of Eastern region was never belligerent and did not approach any radio station or media house to denigrate any ethnic nationality in Nigeria or impugn the character of any ethnic group as did premiers of western and northern region of Nigeria. It is against the grain of wisdom to delete someone who did nothing wrong simply to get even.
