Or for the purpose of peace among Southeastern PDP stakeholders, Obi will be sacrificed for Umahi.

Since PDP is going to nominate a Northern candidate, APC has no choice but to checkmate that move with a Northern Candidate. I think the Ibos will support anybody other than Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He is a modern day Afonja. A slave to the North. We don't like slaves. PDP might nominate a SE candidate for presidency but let us NdiIgbo be honest, All Nigerians are scared of us , so we will never win.

God has blessed Ibos with Everything but the numbers so we have to settle for VP if we want political power which we dont need as bad as other tribes. So If PDP nominates Maybe Atiku or Kwankwaso and APC nominates El-Rufai ? Who will win?

My issue with ibos, is that you think bcoz Atiku is famous in ur region that automatically makes him popular everywhere else in Nigeria.. Adamawa gubernatorial election was the only election he has ever won since 1999, that's before the north knew his antecedents

We don't vote blindly in the north, we are the only region CPC/PDP/ANPP/APC have produced elective government

As a northerner, I can't help to ask.. You keep referring to tinubu and Yoruba as north/hausa/fulani slave, but yet your advocating for a northern candidate under PDP

Tinubu is a politician to the core, the northerners might not be as tribalistic like you guys always opined. You are judging the North by the military era. The North voted for Jonathan, Abiola, Obasanjo, etc. even with their son on the ballot.

By 2023, God willing, a Yoruba either (Asiwaju, Fashola, or Osinbajo) will be president of Nigeria and one of them will definitely win the North.
The North have a lot to gain with a Yoruba president in APC than having a PDP Northerner with an Igbo vice. They should choose what they think will benefit them since it is a democracy afterall.

PDP shouldn't fall into the temptation of fielding a northerner. I know there'll be an argument because the last PDP president is a southerner, but the last Nigerian president is a Northerner. So the south will very unlikely not vote a northerner massively again no matter who is involved.

The best option remains to present the Atiku Obi candidacy all over again, but with Obi as the president and Atiku the vice. Then turn the coin after 8 years.
