If Nigeria’s presidential election was held today, Peter Obi of the Labour Party would win, according to an opinion poll conducted by NOI Polls.

The poll, commissioned by ANAP Foundation was conducted this month and suggests a three-horse presidential race between Mr Obi, Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) came fourth in the poll and was described as a ‘dark horse’.

“The results showed a significant lead for Mr Peter Obi with 21% of voters proposing to vote for him if the presidential election were to be conducted today; and 13% each proposing to vote for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who are both tied in second place. Dr Rabiu Kwankwaso was a distant fourth with 3% of voters proposing to vote for him,” a statement by ANAP foundation announcing the result of the poll shows.

Nigeria will hold her presidential elections in February 2023 with campaigns set to start at the end of September.

Social media poll for social media president

Una don even turn a whole Nigeria election into jokes where ant, chicken, and fowl are all dreaming of becoming a president.

Imagine this same PETER, a political coward that ran away from a little PDP presidential primary that includes (mere ATIKU and talkative wike, and other insignificant clowns like bala mohammed, aminu tambuwal) wants to become the president of Nigeria. grin .

Such effontery from a political coward and clown that should be contesting for a local government election in far away afghanEASTERN.

Seems something is wrong with peter upstairs

Good Job. Dear obidients we need to channel our energies to the southwest and north central. ignore the north east and west for now. we will face them later, however we need to improve our percentages in the north central to block votes in Christian dominated states and in the south west amongst our Christian brothers there.

We can the face the north east and north west to ensure we get 25% there God willing. Meanwhile south east and south south are on lockdown for us. To God be the glory.

From today lets get to work. ignore those miscreants and cretins from agbado and mikano republic. they and their families will die miserable deaths in 2023.

Peter Obi is the man of the moment, the incoming president of Nigeria.

On the other hand, Tinubu presidential ambition is dead and forgotten. Nobody takes Tinubu ambition seriously anymore, except those who are stupid, insane and lack foresight.

I see a runoff in this election. Non of the candidates can get up to 25% in 25 states of Nigeria 36 states...though Obi is doing well apart from the core North.
Nb: Abuja inclusive.

Online polls don't mean anything in Nigeria because a large percentage of the electorate don't even participate in these things. I guess we'll all know soon

Opinion poll is not online polls. They went round the country. Go through the results carefully and objectively.

Okay let's agree on that. The sample size used in the so called opinion poll is too narrow to reflect the choice of the electorate. Only a fool will take any online or offline poll in Nigeria seriously.

There is no need to call anyone foolish. by God's grace February 2023 is just 5 months away.

While it is still too early to predict the winner of the election, it is obvious that the researchers tried to be as objective as possible indicating the percentage of undecided voters and those that outrightly chose not to indicate who they intend to vote. These will count at the end of the day. These same people predicted Buhari's victory in 2015 even when there were no records of a seating president losing election in Nigeria. What the candidates can do is to try to improve their chances in areas where the polls showed likelihood of poor performance.

that mumu poll? When they ask him to state the methodology in reaching to those figures he wasn't able to.
I don't agree with those polls at all
1) 13% of North West votes is more than 50% of South East votes.
2) how can you tell me that Tinubu get 0% in the south east.
3) saying that Atiku will get 1% and 4% in the south east and south south respectively is nothing but rubbish.
