The Minister of Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, SAN. Speaking shortly after the Federal Executive Council meeting, he said reports on the poor state of the country’s roads were mere hypes. Isn't N58.4 billion too much? How long is the bridge with respect to distance? How wide is the bridge going to be? Which construction company is going to handle the project? Therefore, do not be too bitter that Lagos-Ibadan Railway is about 80% and that the Lagos-Ibadan expressway is about 75% and that Ikorodu-Sagamu road has been awarded while South-South and South-East roads are abandoned.
