ok ooo....me that I travelled this week from ibadan to Abuja....and we where mostly on a lane because the other lane was very bad....a lot of money has been released and this projects should have been completed by now

that same road has been awarded and re-awarded more times than even the govt can remember with absolutely nothing done by the contractors. what a country!!

Saraki boasted on national television that he cut the budget for Lagos-Ibadan expressway in order to have money for Constituency projects which included buying sewing machines for artisans, hair dressing machines, clippers for barbers, e.t.c. These illegal Constituency projects are considered more important than the Lagos-Ibadan expressway, this act by Saraki definitely slowed down the work pace. But, we are already making Saraki to pay for that, we stripped him nakked in Kwara, he did not even win a single elective position from House of Assembly to House of Reps, Senate and governorship. Saraki and his gang of looters got no position. Currently, he is hiding somewhere because EFCC is on his trail.

Also, the Lagos-Ibadan expressway contract was awarded by Obasanjo. So, for 16 miserable years of PDP rule, Obasanjo/Yar'Adua/Jonathan did not do up to 1% of the road. What a shame. Now, Buhari/Osinbajo/Fashola are working on it and you too can testify that when you travelled this week as you said, you saw that the contractors were on site working their asses out.
