Without National Serivce, whether Nigeria or Biafra or whatever, our rural schools are going to lack teachers, as would our rural hospitals. NYSC existing nowadays has nothing to do with one Nigeria...but everything to do with meeting manpower needs in our rural areas.

You are free to split Nigeria into how many bits you want. I don't care. But if your new country doesn't have an answer to the rural area manpower needs...at the end of the day, they would create a Youth Service corps...or enact laws to force graduates to work in the rural areas for an indefinte period of time.

Why are blaming the DGs, you have forgotten how powerful women's rights activists have been in the last 30yrs, it would have been insensitive, draconian for any DG to refuse to allow women wear trouser uniforms.
