I can go on and on. Let me remind my readers that some Agencies and Programmes that were hitherto under the supervision of the Vice President have been ceded to some Ministries. These aides were assisting Osinbajo when they were still under the office of the Vice President. No wonder the aides were deployed to the relevant Ministries and Agencies. Why force aides on Ministers who might have engaged aides already, performing the same duties as those redeployed to their ministries? Of course they became redundant and must be discarded.

Those weaving their whole argument around 2023 and power tussle between the VP and the fictitious cabal must have a rethink and consider the overall interest of the country. Today, a large chunk of the nation's budget is set aside for recurrent expenditure with little or nothing for capital projects. Yet we complain about the slow pace of development in the country. How can we grow when one man that makes little or no contribution to economic policies have 4 SAs and SSAs? SAs on Niger Delta, which is not even under his watch?

Going forward, the Presidency should review appointment of aides to make room for efficiency. A Vice President with over 85 aides defies logic in the real sense of it.

There is cogent need to reshuffle if not all, most of the political portfolios in we country if we really want to fight corruption and more so incline our economic status. most of these offices has no task to perform other than wasting tax payers money. But supposedly the injustice was meted to Buhari, buharideens will become indignant over it and proffer solution to restore them back.

Osinbajo is VP of The Federal Republic of Nigeria and not Dungs. Buhari should know that Osinbajo reserves the Right to Hire and Fire his own Staff as certified by the Budget.

Was the action political or based on economic grounds? I agree with you that duplicity of roles is a total waste and i have being calling for this not just in the VPs office but for state governors and the president also. But the President should have led by example and started the action from his office if the intents of this action was purely on economic grounds

Yes, it is cool, we are in an information age but apply strict parental guidance on what he accesses online, on the flip side, even if you refuse to allow him / access the Internet, it is just a question of time, he will do that by himself or get into it via outsiders without your knowledge (and they might introduce things that are not morally right to him, so as a parent, it is better you gradually introduce him to the positive benefits of the Internet) , so allow him but advice him that the Internet is full of good /bad /ugly and apply parental guidance on him, that is why most movies / shows, violent films / sexual / pornographic films are classified with the icon PG
