There are different reasons why marriages don't last.

1. Because of selfishness. Both married men and women are too selfish to reach a compromise. The reason for nagging by the woman and the violent complain by the man is selfishness. Any marriage that is not based on selfishness will last long

2. Storing offences instead of forgiving and overlooking some things. Some men complain about every little thing. no woman is 100percent perfect. if u correct her today and she does the same thing the next minute, forgive her. always forgive her in advance. she is human. the major reason marriage fail is because husband and wife pile up offences, some even write the date and time their wife offends them. if she offends you, forgive and ignore

3. Money issues. Husbands should tell their wife their income. let them know what u are doing and how u are doing it. if u have 5naira, discuss with her how u want it to be spend or invested. Give her her own share for household stuff. women spend more than their husbands give them. don't be too Secretive

4. Don't always expect her to do the right thing. She will sometimes act foolish. correct her in love. don't use abusive words on her

5. Never use abusive words on her no matter what. Even if she deserves it. Learn to be quiet when u are angry with her or better still, go out to cool off. Any man that argue with a woman is doing the right thing in the wrong way. Women don't forget your abusive words even after apologies. learn to use the right words

6. Know the best time to correct her. Most people don't like harsh measures during correction. so if u are angry, walk away or be quiet. Get to know when she is in a good happy mood before you can correct her. U don't have to make it that that very moment . be wise
