Please I really need someone's help.
My mum Is suffering from glaucoma. She discovered this last two years. She was told to do surgery then but because of the fear she has concerning anything surgery she opted to receiving prescribed medications(eye drops and drugs). Recently however, she has been complaining incessantly about her sight deteriorating and I'm really scared coz I don't want my mum to go blind. So we went to d doctor who told us to do surgery before...but we were told it was too late for surgery and she just has to keep managing her sight like that...please I sincerely need some advice from the opticians in the house. Please is there a possibility of getting glaucoma surgery two years after it was diagnosed.

Consider Herbal.
Do your research and look for for authentic reviews.

Personally
I know Bitter Kola has some effect on glaucoma. Glutathione as well. You can do more research and see what supplements she can use since surgery is too late

Good afternoon mummies In the house. I’m back again. So finally my baby has started collecting breast milk. But the problem now is he doesn’t seem satisfied. He’s always crying still. Should I continue with the formular and breast milk... coz I don’t think I can do exclusive breast feeding with him. However I think he eats too much for a one week old baby oo. I’m even scared... he can suck for like one hour and still keep on crying. Even my nipple is paining me now... and even when we supplement it with formular . Within 2 hours he’s crying again. I don’t want to over feed him . What can I do

Have you tried pumping to see how much milk you produce at a time? He could be sucking but only small milk is entering his mouth, perhaps that's why he always cries.

90 ml is good. But how long did it take you to pump 90ml?

I think it took a total of an hour or so... But my baby drank the whole 90ml within seconds... is it okay for a one week old baby to be eating like this....if I’m not producing enough milk, is there anything I can eat to produce more milk ...

Also is there any difference between breastfed baby and formular baby. My in law said I must breastfeed him if I want him to be intelligent ...and I want him to be smart ..

Hahaha! Your inlaw is very funny. But if you want to continue breastfeeding, then you should try lactation cookies. I heard they work wonders.

However, i don't think think there's anything wrong with your baby eating so much but you can ask your pead to be doubly sure.

Lastly, there's NO difference btw a breastfed and formular fed baby. Just make sure you wash the bottles and sterilize properly. If your power no reach to do exclusive, please add formula. Don't allow anybody live out their fantasies through you. One love

Hi mum. Pls be patient with him. His eating too much is helping to increase your breastmilk supply and getting you ready for cluster feeding which eventually leads to growth sprut. Breastmilk is naturally easy and faster to digest and that is why exclusive breastfed babies eat every one and a half to two hours. Your nipple is paining you because you don't lubricate and practice a good latch. Try putting your areola together with your nipple in his mouth. Will attach a picture of how to go about it. Also pls use a nipple cream. Constant rubbing of your dry skin nipple on your bra can cause blisters together with the friction caused by your baby sucking.
Pls have it at the back of your mind that your baby can suck from you far much more than what you pump. Follow my instagram page @zurielslactationdelight for more breastfeeding tips and guide. You can also send a DM we offer free breastfeeding support

Only breastmilk and formula is to be given till 6 months. Since the mother will be writing exams, you can get any brand of formula that you can afford. All the best

No homemade food for now till 6 months. For now, it's only breast milk and formula.
All the infant formula is ideal, let your choice be based on your pocket.
Thanks a lot.

A well fed baby is healthier and more intelligent than a baby that you limit to only Exclusive when it's obviously not sufficient for him. Please give the boy food, a hungry child cannot be intelligent. Breast first, if it's not adequate top up with formula

My son was mix fed from birth because BM wasn't sufficient for him. He's 2 plus and they call him Prof in school so all that one is story. Just offer and exhaust the BM first before offering formula

Its not about weight sis, does she look healthy? At home you can introduce solids like you eat to her gradually. My son was on cereal till he was almost 2. Ate with us in bits but mainly on cereal. What I did was to get variety and try out for him. Whichever ones he took well I stocked up on.

Use weekends to build her food options, moimoi and soft semo/amala with draw soup is usually a hit for younger kids, so start with those and then introduce soft rice, beans etc.

Include fruits in her meals also so she gets use to various flavours and texture.

I taya my sister! So babies that lost their mom at birth are dullards. I wonder where this theory even came from. That's why some babies will just be crying not knowing it's hunger all in the name of exclusive.

That's most likely an infection. Were you given antibiotics after delivery? I would suggest you see your doctor since you just put to bed and most likely breastfeeding. You cant just put anything in your vagina or pop pills anyhow.
