It's not the TV, i use DStv with my Toshiba TV in school and the display looks so brilliant but whenever I get home, I don't bother watching TV because of the GOtv display. And moreover the TV used at home is Samsung TV. So, DStv produce better picture quality than GOtv...

You cant compare dstv hd with gotv in times of picture quality

and before you go upgrade your Gotv, make sure your TV is also have HDMI too....

Depends on the TV, channel and decoder model.

A GOtv decoder with a HDMI interface will surely return better picture from a HD channel on a HDTv.

Is your Gotv the old one ?. first you need to go upgrade it to new Gotv at their office.. your Tv too must have a HDMI too...

if you are buying a new Gotv the HDMI cord come with it

You have to understand that Gotv was launched to compete with the mid/low range cable networks, as DStv subscription fees were high for the average family. There has to be a difference between both, even tho they're owned by the same Multi choice.

What i am using, it is as clear as DSTV. The guy that installed the GOTV suggested that to me.

Different technologies, Different decoder capabilities ...Digital signal via sat dish and antenna are not the same

Only this guy àbove me got the answer. It has nothing to do with HDMI. In short, DSTV is direct satellite transmission while GOTV is terrestrial. That's why DSTV is faster. GOTV transmit from satellite to a huge Dish and finally connect to antennas...
