Truth is, anywhere in the world you find yourself you must be ready to work hard legitimately to break even. There is no shortcut to real success.

I have to admit at this point that an average Nigerian/African is lazy, bereft of ideas, susceptible to crime and bitter!
We (Nigerians/Africans) often complain that opportunities to live a good life eludes us in Nigeria/Africa, but our Nigerian/African brothers living overseas where the government is responsible enough to cater for the welfare of both nationals and immigrants alike, find it difficult to tame the Nigerian/African inside of them.
This is very sad.

She is not a US citizen yet, only a green card holder (citizenship is the next step after getting your permanent residency). If you commit certain crimes such as drug trafficking, pedophilia, etc. as a green card holder, your green card could be taken away from you, you serve time for the crime committed and you'll be deported to your country of origin afterwards.

Most likely she might have her green card seized and face deportation upon serving her time in full.

Green card isn't actually permanent, only the citizenship (US passport) is.
