Marvel/Disney didn't get rid of the character onscreen, they kept on featuring the character in other installments.


This shows how much faith they have in their characters.

After Joker success, they announced a date in October 2022 for an unnamed MCU film.

If you can't see the relationship, then it aint my fault.

jeez why are u so outdated. this is a standalone black adam film, his origi story, before billy's existence. why would you expect shazam to be there? i already read some months back that black adam and shazam won't meet until the third film.

Comic book fatigue is when the audience will start getting bored with CBM.

Take for example, DC has 3 movies for 2021, MCU has 4, Sony marvel releases 1-2 movies... That will be about 9 CB movies per year alone

R-rated movies have a history of being released in October most of the time. With the acquisition of the Fox X-Men properties, this will be a perfect slot for Deadpool 3 as the trilogy has to be concluded obviously. Note that even this is tentative. If you choose to believe that Joker is the reason, then all i can say is "Lol. OK. Sure, mate".

Well you see the companies are gonna enjoy the edge CBMs are having right now. I don't think there will be a CBM fatigue.
But 9 CBMs, Damn 2021 is going to be hot. Hopefully we get more R-rated movies.

They had issues with Edward Norton who wanted a final say on the film's script.

Had Norton played ball, we won't have any Hulk sequel, but you'd still see him in other films instead of Mark Ruffalo.

It was the same way they recasted Terrence Howard: personal issues with the actor.

You should check it out on Screenrant.

The concern here is "When are we going to see Shazam 2".

The writer tries to permutate and look at different scenarios when the sequel to Shazam will be released.

That has been my concern all along: the silence on that film is unexpected.

And don't give me that excuse of "The film just came out". After all, a less than a year old Aqua man already has a release date for the second part.


Even with the "The actors are growing up fast statement, so we want to film quick" statement, no release date.

Do you know how fast a white boy can grow in three years?

And Asher Angel is Seventeen years already, then by the time filming starts probably twenty years.

How can he conveniently portray a child actor at that age?

If you ask me, WB has given up on that project, hence my ceaseless rants.

Black Adam will be an anti-hero not a hero but he will start off as a villain(and it's comic book accurate) if you actually spent time reading the articles you would get that
