They've finally devised a means to manipulate the process that's why they raised the motion. No be 9ja? Nigerian politicians and the People in government cannot just come up with a policy that will benefit all Nigerians. It is always about themselves, family and friends. Nigeria cannot work. It has never worked, and it will never work. My only hope and prayer is to benefit from this flawed process. 1 Like |

Bellotelli: Is it everybody that have voters card as well?? It’s simple, u want to vote enter a bank register for bvn...government will synchronize bvn data base with electronic voting cyberspace...we can all vote from our house...violence free, death free, more people can participate, no more issue of card reader problem Voters card that under age have in the north..but with bvn... bank can manage its registration successfully registering only 18years old....... Hacking is the only challenge.... |

INEC And NIMC should work together, do NIN enrollment like the continuous voter registration, then we should use our NIN for voting, simple, but this is Nigeria, simple things are always complex 1 Like |

jidamsel43:Say what you know, there are one thousand and one electoral reforms that will reduce election rigging to at least barest minimum such that rigging will become useless, but the problem is, will the stupid politicians agree to allow such reforms come into existence If Nigerian government is serious with ending all these election brigandage and higihigihaga, all they need to do is pass full electronic voting into law. Invite experts to submit proposals; we have cloud storage or even blockchain technology system used in bitcoin management, it can be employed to avoid hacking. Almost every Nigerian above 18 years now have a BVN, make it compulsory that you cannot vote as a Nigerian without BVN. Have a centralized voting centers across local government areas like ATM hubs where people can go on election day to vote and go with their finger print to ensure they cannot sell their vote even if they decide to sell their BVN, their finger prints (maybe two fingers) cannot be sold. Install a camera at the voting machine center and let the camera be programmed not to allow anybody vote once 2 faces are captured, and then let INEC polling officers have a secret pass code they can use to allow disabled or aged people to be assisted to vote only by the INEC polling officer. Each electronic voting center will be programmed to allow only the number of disabled people who must indicate during voters registration to be assisted, once that number of disabled people is reached, the system will never allow two person to be at the electronic voting boot to cast their vote, it will give a voice prompt; please go back, only 1 person allowed to vote at a time! I have a full transcript of how electronic voting can be done in Nigeria and even how Nigerian leadership can be transformed to put Nigeria on the roadmap to greatness 2 Likes |

Any electronic voting system that requires voters to gather at a place will still be handicapped and susceptible to violence. Let the voters stay in their houses and use their phones to vote. 3 Likes |

Bellotelli: They have to open one. Besides, how many 18-year-olds are without bank accounts in a country where parents are opening accounts for their 6-month-old babies? Any e-voting system that is not implemented leveraging blockchain technology is a complete waste of time. INEC still has time to deploy and tesr-run it. Our problem is not the process; our problem is the evil mindset of our people 1 Like |

OlawaleBammie:. It cant be BVN. It is supposed to be NIN. My oiipinion is that electronic voting should be prohibited but the result should be sent both Electronically and physically (result sheet). Collation officers will just arrived Abuja with result sheets while comparison with electronic result is confirmed if accurately accepted if not rejected. That could however bring a stalemate when a state result is manipulated and doesn't tally. |
