You are very stupid. A simple listing of ECG which is worth over 3 billion dollar will naturally offload the debt . we don't even need to struggle ...revenue from Ghana gas alone can do the job....

You don't have enough yet to give some away to Qatar, what a stupidity .....
Which is one worth 3B..the mother VRA or the child ECG. How much liabilities do they carry. I read they are technically insolvent.Who will buy a stake in something that has 30yr pay or take contracts with Independent Power Producers? And not only that you signed future contract with Nigeria gas so even if you produce your own gas you'll pay N-Gas every year. These are not easy to wriggle out contracts...the one you tried you'll hear more of it in international courts

You are idot .VRA is diffrent from ECG. ECG in this case is worth over the liabilities it has , it can easily offset its own debt by simply listing .

You are an idiot every right thinking nvestors will put its money into venture that value and credit assured. this is Ghana electricity here not Redundant kenya sGR

I thought VRA is the mother of ECG and Northern one.You cannot list your way out of liabilities or trouble. In Kenya they won't allow you to list if you haven't been profitable for 5yrs.You think you can offload a thud to the stock market.Maybe you clean up their balance sheet first by first paying off 30yrs of projected revenues from thermal plants so they can dismantle them and also ask Ghanians to pay for used power esp Ghana government that owes lots of money to ECG & others.Youre in big trouble.Prepare 850m dollars to pay IPPs and maybe 250M to N-Gas annually - you can use the extra power to fry banku or shoot space missiles.. nobody cares you got to pay...for extra 2500mw of idle capacity.

Rolls-Royce and ALS have signed an agreement for engine maintenance, repair and overhaul services for the Kenyan airline’s fleet of AE3007-powered Embraer ERJ135 and ERJ145 aircraft, up to 10 in total. The agreement, which is for five years, will see Rolls- Royce provide the Nairobi-based specialist operator with its flagship TotalCare long-term aftercare service solution, which is designed to maximise aircraft availability.

ALS CEO, Mr Shakeel Khan, said: “At ALS we are proud to be a creative airline and place great importance on partnering with organisations that share our vision and ambitions. Our existing relationship with Rolls-Royce has been very positive and we are delighted to extend it by selecting TotalCare for engine servicing of our ERJ135 and ERJ145 aircraft.”

You may own part of the pipeline but you signed to buy Nigeria gas whether you need it or not..so even with your gas coming on board..you still pay Nigerians.

What amount has the S.African bank lent to Lamu? Up until now that project has been financed only by Kenyans!

The international buisness doesn't works that way, you get payed after the delivery of the product . currently, Ghana is not receiving gas from Nigeria thru the pipe line agreement. so where will the debt accrued be pragmatic for once. buisness doesn't work blindly .

ECG be listed on the bourse today, it would be ranked among the best-capitalized companies on the stock market with a market capitalization of about GHc 15 billion. If the market values the company significantly above its book value, this premium would make it's market capitalization even higher....it is just that simple, are you actually a graduate ? The dept payment issue isn't the big deal . most of the ECG debt is owed by VRA which owned Ghana gas . they are basically local debt which goverment can pay right away ...

It depends..if you signed a future contract, you're done.KQ for example got into trouble because they bought fuel futures at 140-200 dollars per barrel and so even when oil tanked to 20 dollars , KQ still buy fuel at crazy rates. There is no escaping.KQ been through hell since 2014.The same your for IPP.No escaping international contracts.Whatever you do in Ghana is null and void.Wait till creditors seize your embassies.Nigeria has 9 billion dollars bill waiting execution.

3B dollars for an electricity distributor that sells about 1000Mw to about 1m customers and is highly indebted is crazy.Who did the valuation.JP Morgan or CITibank or some Ghanian Yahoo boy.I would estimate it's value at about 50m dollars.Go back to the Nigeria backstreet university and ask for your real degrees.. Bachelor of Arts in street begging and related hustle.

i still repeat buisness is not done in isolation. you don't pay for gas that is not pump. Most of the N Gas have been offset . the deal isn't meant to be forever . there is a line of agreement between both party . using kenya here is a stupid example . they both owned the pipe line. meaning they both owned the project, Ghana and Nigeria, chevron, benin and togo both share liabilities. so it not a deal in Ghana as anything regarding N Gas here had been abrogated . G gas even do export now....

Nigeria even need more gas now to power its electricity project, so where the extra gas ?

You are mistaken. We have you NIGHAS on a leash. IMF colony and poverty capital have been reduced to crying arabs, whites, Indians and now Somalis. This white worship all emanates from a cotton picking tradition. We ain't the same.

Good example of a futures contract is your IPP take or pay with VRA. International business and contracts are not a joke. They are not heard in Accra.. possibly London. No escape. No short cut.No negotiation. Its just paying.Go ahead and cancel them..and see if your gold won't be seized.

We have slums while your entire shanty city of Lagos is worse than a slum, No foreigners can have any positive opinion about that capital of poverty, like they do for Nairobi

Look at Nairobi kid, I dare you to show us anywhere in Nigeria or West Africa looking better than this

With its plan to lease 40,000 hectares
to Qatar, Kenya joins the growing
number of poor nations that are
granting their potential food
production land to oil-rich countries.

The development comes even as the
Government declares an emergency as
close to a third of the country’s
population faces starvation.
Vaxx was right. As far back as 2009 Kenya was actually begging the Arabs to take part of its land for growing food even as Kenyans starved. But I guess the Arabs lost interest along the way. What would these Kenyans not rent out to foreigners? They can even rent out their wives and daughters. grin
