Grace means we have the privilege to abide in God and share in his glory/inheritance as sons and daughters through life in the spirit(Faith),and not of the law(works). It is never a passport to do as you like.

GRACE AS A ONE-WAY TICKET TO PARADISE.

Grace says even if we have sinned, we sin, and will sin, God will forgive us each time we ask for forgiveness in Jesus' name — Meaning the past, present, and future sins are forgiven after you believe in Christ and continue to believe in him. So easy and convenient...A one-way ticket to heaven I must say.

Ephesians 2:8-9
''For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast''

WHEN GRACE BECOMES A ROLLER-COASTER TO HELL

The grace of God is so awesome that we can easily take it for granted by sinning with impunity and at first we may feel guilty and ask for forgiveness until it gets to a stage where we become so comfortable with sins and we begin to make excuses for ourselves for committing those sins.

And each time we sin, our fellowship with God breaks. It’s not His fault. It is our fault and it is up to us to correct the situation. The Presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives will help us understand that we have grieved him in words, thoughts, or actions, but GOD will not force us to again enter into fellowship with him cos it's up to us to find our way back to his fellowship. But because we have become comfortable in our sins, we may take it for granted and continue in our sinful ways until death and eventually end up in hell.

Romans 6: Verses 1 and 16
"Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? -Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living."

Lord Jesus, We pray this day that you give us the power to stand firm till death and never to take your grace for granted...AMEN!
Amen!

Speak for yourself. I was not born into original sin. keep your guilt-tripping, fear-induced, baseless and hapless faith to yourself.

Any gospel that undermines the indispensable role obedience/works/righteousness plays in man's salvation, encourages men to continue in sin.

So someone cannot sow "we are saved by grace, not by works" and expect not to reap a "shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?". Because the latter is an inevitable consequence of the former.

This was what Jesus sowed:

Matthew 16:27 (KJV)

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

John 5:29 (KJV)

29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

That's why Jesus reaped a church that didn't continue in sin, but was obedient to the Word of God.

So there was no need for a "shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?" because they knew very well from the onset that without works, there was no salvation for them and that sin would lead them straight to hell.

God bless.
Thank you very much.... Am tired of all this once saved forever saved sermon.... But those that say jxt believe in christ,,, and you are saved,,, have a lot of backup scriptures,,,, which am still trying to figure out whether the both sermons should be preached all together...

Maybe you should start by defining sin .

Roman 6: 1

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
Romans 6:1‭-‬2 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/rom.6.1-2.KJV

Read the Bible contextually . Continue in sin , not to sin

The concept of once saved is always saved is true but we need to undrstand it clearly.

It is still all about grace. As long as you genuinely repent each time you sin there is no way you will end up in HELL...this was how David made his way to paradise.

David was a very sinful man bit he kept crying to GOD every now and then and that we can see in his numerous psalms to GOD.

BUT CAN YOU STILL LOSE YOUR SALVATION? ...the answer is a big yes but this time it is not GOD taking it away from you or forsaking you cos Jesus clearly says that "All who the father gives to me will come to me and whoever comes to me I will never drive away" John 6:37

But when it gets to a stage where you on your own accord willingly give up your salvation maybe because you sin always and you tell yourself you are not worth being called born again...at this point you have lost your salvation.

So the bottom line is that you must keep striving by faith to work out your salvation With fear and trembling...continually praying for forgiveness of sins as David did even if you struggle with sin till you give up your last breath.

We are saved by Grace. This means our Salvation is based on Christ finished works and not on our performance...... When you are saved, it means you have accepted Jesus from your HEART...There is no way you will desire to live in Sin. No genuine believer, who have believed from the HEART, will be comfortable with Sin, but that does not mean that believers are perfect, No, grace covers our mistakes and weaknesses, but not our sinful lifestyles.... I hope I won't be misunderstood.

Pls note that when you repent of your sins, only your past sins are forgiven NOT YOUR FUTURE SIN. As soon as you sin, you loose the Grace of God on your life. However, repentance restores the grace.

It is unfortunate that a brand of Christianity called Pentecostalism thinks that with Jesus's death you are automatically granted a visa to heaven and no matter how terribly you behave you can't lose your "salvation" and all you just have to do is accept Jesus as your personal lord and saviour.

Utter bullshit.
Romans 8:34, Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

grace can never be a roller coaster to hell but rather works.
People end up in hell because they do not believe on Christ who is the eternal life.

Look at it from the contextual angle and not literally.
