Sarri doesn't have a CV yet he won for Chelsea, he will do the same with juventus.
Bros Zidane, enrique all didn't have CV before becoming world-class
Do you believe he can win anything for us with the calibre of players we have and the mentality of our board? He even had better players at Spurs yet couldn't do anything. Let him go to Real Madrid.

That's why I said he must have learnt his lesson. He improved spurs in defence and against big clubs even khalifa was encouraged. Arsenal problem have been the defence and big clubs.
1+1= pochettino or a better coach grin
I would have loved Simone but that will be playing away from arsenal style

Mourinho to Spurs: My thoughts

Mourinho hasn't won a trophy since his second stint at Chelsea. After being spoilt in his first stint, he has been known to play with big money signings, something he doesn't seems to do without. Mourinho will guarantee you trophies but that is if you have money. This credit itself is becoming questionable after spending heavily at Man Utd his previous club with nothing to show for it. His joining Tottenham will either be the last nail that will seal his managerial coffin, or the one to start the rebuild of his managerial tower. This means he needs to have enough funds available to achieve it, and also satisfy the trophy desire of Spurs fans. Enough money to dough out and capture big players. Enough money, enough to break transfer records if that is what it takes. Something I am sure Daniel Levy, will not be willing to afford.
Mourinho will priotise Fa cup and Carabao the moment he sees UCL and Bpl is far from his reach, he did this alot at Chelsea even at utd.
He doesn't rest players for cup games from experience..

For now, I know he'll try and get top4, and go hard for the fa cup..
And his chances of winning it are high for the f.f reasons:

Arsenal are after Top4 and Europa and will rest players for Fa cup.

Liverpool's ambition this year is premier league title, they've got busy schedule and will rest players for Fa Cup.

Utd, wants UCL football before any Fa cup

Chelsea do not want to drop from table and want to go far in UCL..

Pep and Man city wants to win everything but will priorities UCL, failure to get UCL may get pep sacked..
And this spurs side have shown they can knock city out talk more of a rested squad.

Mou knows how to win trophies, for spurs standard, they'll consider Fa cup and no UCL football as success.

I will be a little bit surprised if Mou manages to win anything with the squad Pochentino had. Unless he buys this January, how he will make use of those players will interest me. We all know he has zero tolerance for average Joe's. He wouldn't mind castigating them publicly like he did at United.

Atletico have been more successful than Arsenal in recent times, the fans there are happy..
"Arsenal style" doesn't give happiness, fans don't care about style anymore, make us competitive and win us some few trophies,
Today, Atletico can face any team in Europe and have atleast 50% chance of winning,

let simeone come turn Arsenal to what we see in Madrid and see if fans will not raise a statue for him.

That's the major issue with Jose, aside that he will in less than 2 years win a trophy. This same set of players got to UCL final, his first eleven are above average.

Simone will have to start again and he spent alot too, none of this present arsenal players will remain if Simone comes maybe lacazette, luiz and Leno because you need to be at your feet always even João Felix they mark like werey.

He won Carabao,Community shield and Europa, another Fa cup final in his 2.5 yrs at utd...

Utd want to be competing at the highest level like Liverpool & Man city,he couldn't get them that because the era he was outspending everyone has gone coupled with his outdated tactics

This is the point smiley

I don't mind he comes and clear all the fashionistas and over 30yrs celebrities who've achieved something fair enough in football..
Also any youngster who isn't ready to meet up should be loaned or sold..

I'm sick and tired of seeing players vomiting from fatigue on the field, another signalling to be substituted, some strolling and Jogging and some scared to go into duels and timid on the ball by always looking for safest pass..

He doesn't need to do massive clear out, just get rid of 2or3 and bring in another 2/3 of the right breed, in a matter of 3 years team would have settled.

Enough of the Arsenal culture, bring anyone who can change the system.

Bros If we wan start again let's leave Freddie and give him like 3 years to build around the youngsters with strict transfer not to sell the young guns.
Getting Simone to clear out the squad is waste of money IMO,if lampard can keep his squad with addition next season they will be competing for EPL and UCL

Your first paragraph justifies your point. The second especially the emboldened justifies mine and is a big reason why he is the wrong choice for Spurs. They won't be able to afford his extravagance.

You people and this Freddie talk, you get mind o, at least Lampard started with Derby county, its a big risk, Sure Freddie may improve things but its a big gamble, Do you think fans will cope with Freddie for 3yrs? We may end up like Ole's utd.
No one expected Lampard to get Chelsea to this level, the season is long, he might end up like Ole Solksjar..

For me, let's follow the Liverpool project, bring in a coach that'll change the culture, identify and bring in the right talents around .

Sallah,Mane,Winaldum,Arnold,Robertson,Toreira,Ndidi,Madison et al did not cost £40..

We can spend £60 on two quality players for good different positions in a window, then next window we some smart business again.
Klopp and Simeone started spending large when they got to the top.

Sure I feel it'll "end in tears" for spurs, but if it's about trophies, he could get them a few before he goes, but spurs will relish the pochentino's moment again.

klopp sent almost half a billion to get here, we can't spend up to that. I was mentioning Freddie cos he must have learnt from wengay and emery plus he was the youths coach the youngsters know him very well.
Bringing in expensive new coach is another trouble, if man utd can be patience with ole he will deliver and he's also unlucky with injuries

Klopp's first 2 years were just normal business
Mohamed Salah (£34m - 2017)
Sadio Mane (£30m - 2016)
Andrew Robertson (£8m - 2017)
Georginio Wijnaldum (£25m - 2016)
Fabinho (£39m - 2018)
Oxlade Chamberlain (£35m - 2017)
Xherdan Shaqiri (£13m - 2018)

The above were decent business, they sold Coutinho and Suarez and some other low key players .

Only Van dijk,Alison and Naby Keita are above £40M and they were after his 3rd year.

After his first 2years he already to the top and was generating revenue for them..

So we can sell Kolasinac,Xhaka,Mustafi,Ozil,Mhicky,Elneny Sokratis and Nelson..
Introduce Mavro, bring in Saliba and pair Chambers/Luiz and Holding

Look for a talented LB of little cost like Robertson to understudy KieranT, Guendozi&Willock will have matured and replace Elneny easily, bring in Ndidi or partey..

Use Martinali,Saka,Niles and pepe as wingers fo r now then go all out for another LW and AM next summer the following summer. smiley

You singled out the good buys and avoided the bad ones. Klopp spent a lot of money to get here. It was money well spent though because of their last season's achievement. But it's also because they fortunate to have a very good manager overseeing it. A bad manager would make the club go into admin. Is this a risk Arsenal is willing to take? I guess not.

We are still in our trial process for a new manager. Even if we want to use Ljunberg or any manager, it will be for max two years until we are sure to hand him the club for long term.

They were the major buys and most expensive in his first 2yrs, the Karius and Solankes were either free transfer or <£10M..

Before the UCL trophy, they were already at the top level and the positive signs were there already.

Freddie will be another time wasting, the guy will just be attacked for nothing, let's get a good manager who understands the modern style of football, clear 3/4 deadwoods and celebrities, bring in 2/3 quality buys next summer, and implement the high intensive quality football..
The manager doesn't need to spend huge like klopp in his first years, he'll inherite better players than what klopp inherited.
Just 2/3 signings within the £35M range.

Wengay was his own problem, he became power drunk and arrogant. Clubs were spending he refused and wanted to force his mentality on others.
If only he was spending heavily, them no born fergie or mourinho but he was having 3 good players in a starting 11 against fergie or mourinho. He made us a laughing stock embarassed I won't forgive that man
You people still overrate this Wenger. With or without money he is not on Fergie’s level.

As good as your suggestion is, it's still looks like what we have done already with Emery. Like I pointed out, it is not a 1+1=2 matter. If not United would be top of the league by now after they got LvG, then Mourinho. We too got Emery but here we are still whining.

We are still in our trial process and any managerial change should not come as a surprise. We keep trying until we land the desired manager.

Meanwhile, Allegri is out of job.
