Dear all, I sincerely need your advice. I transferred money from my FBN account into my GTBank account over 3 months now. The money reflected in my GTB account as available balance but not in the current balance. I have made series of complaints to both banks and had also written when I said I couldn't see money transferred. GTB has refused crediting or even returning it to my FBN account. I suspect its another strategy to lock up peoples fund and trade with it without paying interest. Imaging If this is done with 500,000 customers. This i think is fraudulent behaviour for a bank I have been using for more than a decade.

When did this happen, has it been sorted? Was your complaints done by calls or just email?

I noticed that sometimes gtbank puts a hold for about 30mins on a transfer on certain amounts if it is the first time that account is receiving money from the sender account. This may just be the issue.

This started almost 2 months and more now. Not yet sorted even when I sent series of emails and the bank too responded twice with calls. I have been sending and receiving money from both accounts. Both are my accounts so why hanging my money?
