jaxxy:You still don't get ... The US is not concerned about the source of the money but the fact that lies were used as the intent to bring the money into US and then he re-distributed ..Oga as far as they are concerned he laundered that money |

stonegarden:Did you read where he mentioned his lawyers? Had he said nothing , people would have started attacking him and now that he's talking , some people are still saying stuffs. I like this man and what he's doing. Thank God for his brave idea. Nigerian aviation would have been dying by now. Airpeace is what is still encouraging the likes of arik and aero to remain in business...believing that there's still light at the end of the tunnel. By the way, the west would never want any positive to happen in Nigeria. Our country is a threat to any western nation. A nation with vast population and men and women of great ideas would be a threat to them. See what happened to the Nigerian govt in london court ruling some months ago. Let's agree our govt displayed a lackadaisical attitude in the ill-fated contract with P and ID. Is the huge penalty we were asked to pay really worth it? They monitor our foreign reserves. They monitor our progress and once they see any improvement, they hit us. Who says they like us in the west as they claim? All the NGOs you see around are a scam. Oyinbo would never give you anything for nothing. They have a multi year game plans and by the time they're executing it, it becomes a shock. Read about some countries who survived against all odds today, the west had hit them but they weren't deterred. Only in Nigeria would you find what God created and people on earth. I blame our government for always running to them for help, instead of developing and harnessing our God given talents. Many are yearning to visit people practicing Islam in the world, they only hear about them but haven't really seen them and their culture. Some wish to even see the Atlantic ocean as many hardly believe an ocean could roar or behave like man, running up and down with the aid of what is called ocean current. Many hardly see rain fall in their country. It happend once in 5 or 10 years in some Arab countries. My friend, an oil and gas person who was posted to saudi Arabia said the day it rained, all of them came out jubilating and beating drums. Many haven't experienced 2 weathers and they want to see that country who experiences only 2 weathers in a year. They want to see green vegetation which grows naturally. Most of their zoos over there were filled with wild animals from Africa. They want to see a country separated by different vegetation. They want to see a large number of blacks. They want to see how plants could grow without applying fertilizers. Many have never seen how crude oil is being explored...we have all these . We are a rich nation but our government has impoverished us, especially those who see governance as a means of amassing wealth. No thanks to a region who sees governance as their birthright and have become indolent as a result of this. |

He might be innocent but there is no smoke without fire! The action of bringing back Nigerians stranded in S.A was nice but as an average Nigerian I know, he was up to something. Nobody is nice for nothing in this country anymore only a very few. He should rush and clear up this poo or go down with it |

At last last, All these vipers with their veiled poison tongues, writing and making media judgements, while hiding their boiling hate for this Igbo man. You will still board Air Peace, after all, we are all in the zoo. Where certain people are known to run everything aground with acute accuracy. Some idiot write that every charge is true because it's US, and they have investigated it thoroughly. That must mean US law enforcement agencies always win every single court case they institute. |

SalamRushdie:when did America started fighting those that are laundering money from Nigeria?their statement is neither here nor there, their statement is based on allegation and hear say,is unfortunate that most of u have started accusing airpeace already as usual, what will be ur gain if airpeace business is grounded? |
| Re: Onyema Denies US Fraud Allegations, Says All Money Transferred Went Through CBN by sonnie10: 9:36am On Nov 23, 2019 |
Advocate500:Oga, if he get sense let him take this as expo. there are things that cannot be hidden in this case, one is the existence of an actual plane and the other is the existence of an actual appraisal company. Once he can present evidence that these two actually existed, then there wouldn’t be any cause for alarm. |
| Re: Onyema Denies US Fraud Allegations, Says All Money Transferred Went Through CBN by SalamRushdie: 9:36am On Nov 23, 2019 |
jaxxy:Then he should have left the money in Springfield aviation account or reversed it back to Nigeria.. |

Advocate500:Where did I accuse , Infact I am learning , early next year I will be involved in the purchase of two planes for a business and I am also learning from this how we can handle the funds .I am great supporter of Onyeama but also a realist , I have gone through the fabric of the case and I have seen where he made a mistake ..he actually laundered money maybe by mistake but he did . Now he just has to prove to them it wasn't done in bad faith to the Americans meaning , it wasnt done to constitute criminality in any guise ...Since 911 Americans don't joke with any form of money laundering . |

These American guys no dey smile o! There was an incident that happened in between the American and Canadian border. A tourist at the Canadian border was told once you pass this line, you are in American territory. She felt excited. She decided just to enter American territory for a few minutes and return. Unfortunately, what was a simple joke turned into something very serious. American immigration caught her and she's facing the wrath of the law for entering the country illegally without documents and will be deported. Meanwhile, when the same happened to a tourist in America who did likewise into Canada, the Canadian officials told her politely and lightheadedly that she's now in Canadian territory and she should please turn back which she did |

sonnie10:most of their statement is based on hear say and mere allegations, their is no fact to back it up seriously, but it surprises me how most of us are quick to condemn our own .a lot of our politicians are laundering money to USA, I have never seen US government coming directly against them, this is the only air line that is proudly indigenous,Nigeria should wakeup seriously. |

That is our problem, always playing the tribal card. What concerns the US with tribe? He is screwed because the Department of Justice is involved ( they have all they need to lock him up) and other government agencies in America are involved. He is a nice man but should have played the game better. Being nice cannot save you in this capitalist world. Anambralstson: |

SalamRushdie:My friend stop rushing like a Russian, it's too early, I believe Onyema and his team knows better than you, don't hang him on nairaland, after all the cases against Mike Adenuga and Atiku by the same US government, they're still waxing strong, AirPeace has come to stay. |

jaxxy:What is alleged is that he used documents from Springfield Aviation LLC stating they had agreement to sell planes to him, to obtain LC. It turns out that Springfield Aviation is owned by him and the documents were fake. Furthermore upon getting the money into the US, some were diverted. You think those are not crimes under US Federal Law? |
