Report Of A Scam By An Ibadan Photographer by skirel(op):
This post is to report a scam committed by a so-called photographer at University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State.

The Scam:
On the 13th of November, 2019, I and my friend had our convocation at the university of Ibadan. After the program, we decided to have some professional photos after taking some with our phones. We contacted one of the many photographers around begging for patronage. We decided to use one who claimed that his photograph business name is "More Blessing Photo." After taking 3 pictures of each of us, he said the price is N300 per picture. We bargained it to N250 and he agreed. We paid him N750 (cash) each for our 3 photos. We told him we want the soft copies and he said that we sould send him a message on WhatsApp. He promised to send them to us immediately we contact him. He gave us his phone number and we went our way. Later in the day, I messaged him and he promised to send them the following day. He didn't send the photos as he promised. I and my friend continued to message him days later but he resulted to reading our messages without replying. He also didn't reply phone calls of my friend. I threatened him to send our photo but he called my message bluff by reading it and not replying. That's why I have decided to post the crime here. I have attached details of him I have to this post.

Please, if you ever come across this guy for any business, don't rush like us to trust him and pay him. We thought he is trustworthy but his action has proved us wrong. It was just N1500 combined. The money or our photos is not the issue here but the manner he has been conducting the whole situation. Never do business of any kind with him or don't pay him upfront for anything. He is a proven scammer. Stay away from him. His picture and phone number is below.

Business name: More Blessing Photo

Number: 08100085414 or 2348100085414

Thanks for your time. My chats with him is also below.

So because of common 750 naira you want to spoil the poor boy image. Why not use the same energy you put in black mailing him to go to the school and see him one on one. Possible you are not the only one he snapped that day he will take his time to go through his photos to select yours, or possible he can't recall your faces again. Poor things

Blackmail? So, if you pay someone to do something for you and they promised to do it but eventually didn't do it, you will let it go. The annoying thing here is he stops replying our messages. Is that how you do business and satisfy your customers? Do you think if I know his place or shop I wouldn't have gone there to ask what the issue is? He can't remember our face? Maybe you should go through the screenshots of our chats I sent again. So, if he's sorting the photos out, it will take him 2 weeks to do that and that warrant him not replying or updating us? I have had similar work done before and it was the photographer that was calling me the following morning to come and have my pictures. Please, think well before you reply another time. There were many photographers that day. We just selected one. We don't know him before or his shop or whatever other contact. That's not how to do business.

i support you bro.. This is their modus operandi in schools, making cheap scams in school environments.. I have no pity for them whether small money or not.. Imagine if he did this to 20 persons.

Find time to visit the guy rather than this. Since you are not a regular customer nd didn't collect the soft copy immediately, it may be deficult to identify ur pics. He has his fault too for not replying ur message and explain the situation
