am not sure of d type of experience u've had with itel product.But d one wey me dey use, itel 1516plus is very strong. It's getting close to two yrs since I bought it, but it does not give me problem despite d fact that it has dropped on different occasions.if u see d torch pad, it has different set of scars(cracks).
The phone na second hand ooo and d phone has different cracks on it before I bought it (to show u that d person wey sell am to me don use am anyhow before selling it to me) but still, d phone no give me problem.
I might still go for Itel product in d future(cuz of my experience with 1516plus).
