ehen na. He should wait for the superman sequel instead of signing a c0ntract to a 7 year initial series. Plus, that's the c0ntractual clause for series in the U. S: 7 years. Or better still, play in indie films and atimes blockbusterz like with MI6 instead of going to star in a series. Bros, u are avoiding the obvious fact. Cavill isn't sure what plans WB has for superman. Amy adams even said so. Cos traditi0nally, cavill wouldn't go into a series when he is in a franchise. It aint just cos of m0ney or whatever. What am saying is if he is called to chose between Superman and Witcher (assuming they want to film both at the same time now) he will chose Superman.

The reason why the Witcher is even getting attention is because Henry is famous as Superman not Witcher.

Henry Cavill brought the Witcher to the limelight.

If the Witcher was that popular, people would have talked about the games or its books. You can use Nairaland as a case study, how many people discussed about the Witcher books or games on NL or even other forums like reddit? Even if you get some discussion, it will just be few discussions. You can't compare Superman popularity to that of the Witcher.

Netflix used Henry's Superman popularity to sell it. This should not even be debated.... It might have been known to gamers (i will say few gamers sef) but non-gamers have never heard of the Witcher or even know what's about.

Ogbeni, it is not necessarily Cavill that will make The Witcher TV series popular. It's like saying Chadwick Boseman made Black Panther popular.
Why can't The Witcher be compared with GOW or Metal Gear? It's one of the biggest and best selling games of this generation. And the franchise is growing as well. With the success of this TV series, it will soon be considered an insult to mention GoW or Metal Gear in the same sentence as The Witcher.
