But this comment from the commenter reads “I like Igbo girls” this has nothing to do with tribalism. He/she is only saying out his choice.

You must be Yoruba I guess. Ppl from the Yoruba and Igbo tribes (Not everyone) are the most troublesome on this forum....Anytime an Igbo name is mentioned for crime the Yorubas on here somehow make crime, fraud an Igbo thing. I see similar comment “afonja” from some Igbo commenters too.

It’s just the reality of Nigeria...Nigeria can never be unified, look at almost all the countries doing well they all speak almost same language and same ethnic groups, even China with over a billion population about 80% speaks Mandarin and over 90% are of same ethnic group. Nigeria with a population of 200m have over 400 ethnic groups and almost a thousands languages. Only Yoruba language we have Ijebu Yoruba, Osun Yoruba etc.

According to the fairytale book; when the ppl were building the Tower of Babel to get to heaven, how did God stop them again? He made them speak different languages that killed the unity...With Unity everything can be conquered.
And we can’t prosper in Africa if we don’t go back to our roots and embrace it, English is a foreign language and would always remain a foreign language so don’t expect English to unify Nigeria lol. It would only make the Europeans happier.

But it’s only an illusion to think Nigeria would be unified, of every 10 Nigerian you’ll hear at least 5 different languages, tribalism and sentiments would always be a thing.

The problem I have with these tribal urchins on Nairaland is that the Yoruba man or Igbo man you keep abusing his tribe is not your problem, the Europeans and the politicians know one Nigeria is a scam but because of what they benefit they don’t care...breaking up is the only solution for Nigeria.
