Abdul Samad Rabiu, Founder/Executive Chairman, BUA Group with H. E. Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, Governor of Kwara State during an offical tour of BUA's 20,000Hectare Sugar Plantation and Refinery site in Lafiagi, Kwara State, North Central Nigeria.

The $300m BUA Sugar factory and farm in Kwara is gradually nearing completion. Nigeria spends N300bn importing sugar. This plant will process 14,000 tonnes of canes daily to produce 200,000 tonnes of refined sugar, 35mw of electricity and 200,000 liters of ethanol to cut import.

I'm not from Kwara, I love how the Saraki dynasty was dismantled, I'm pro APC but these photos aren't doing justice to a supposed 300 million dollar project.

Heck nothing suggests even 300 million Naira has been spent.
