These among other reasons are why Abuja can never be compared with Lagos. Like someone once said, if government had a way to channel Lagos lagoon to Abuja, they will do it.

if no be say lagos state gvt dey mumu, then for they generate their own electricity.
a lot needs to be done in lagos, i am not impressed.
No state can generate electricity in Nigeria without passing it to d National grid.

Its against d constitution.

I was chatting with a white dude from Switzerland the other day.
He told me that in Zurich, individuals who go green through solar installments, sell off the excess of the power proceedings they cant use to their neighbors.

Though he said it isnt that buoyant and return boostfful as the product cost is way costlier than the returns and money the neighbors might decide to be paying per week or month.

Why do I say this? It is foolish for that constitutional to say that no state or private individual can generate electricity without passing the national grid..

People and individuals needs to be generating electricity and be selling at their own suitable prices.

This will ease so many loads in the national grid

I think Nigeria has a cap on that, may be 2 megawatts or so.

If u generate above that, u must to pass to d national grid. grin

Lagos is truly a beautiful place and the city of Lagos boast of so many waterways and the Island. So I have always thought of documenting the beautiful pictures across the Lagos Lagoon. I have been on boats so many times this year and I thought it won't be a bad idea to tour and document these for people to see.
So one of those days I got bored and thought of what to do, then a crazy idea came to mind, let's shoot beautiful pictures across the Lagos. I couldn't contain the joy. I went straight to Ikoyi where I hired a boat. Hiring a boat in Nigeria is one expensive thing, exotic boats are usually billed per hour. So I went for two hours and we set out into the beautiful Lagos coast LOL

Everything on water us totally different from land. Its peaceful at a point, at other points it gets crazy. So check out these beautiful pictures from the Lagos lagoon.

1. the Lagos Marina
2. 1004 Estates from the water side
3. The Oriental hotel
4. The Black Diamond Hotel owned by Mobil

Nice share !

I am wondering what Riverine states like Delta state, Bayelsa state, Rivers states, Akwa Ibom, Cross River state are doing with their beaches and marine wonder.

Their governor are not taking advantage of nature gift to develop the nature wonder in their domain.

They think crude oil will last forever !

Wake up governors in the Niger delta region.

Ain't that easy bro .. most of the water here are polluted, or most coastal areas have large pipelines under it.
