Lagos is truly a beautiful place and the city of Lagos boast of so many waterways and the Island. So I have always thought of documenting the beautiful pictures across the Lagos Lagoon. I have been on boats so many times this year and I thought it won't be a bad idea to tour and document these for people to see.
So one of those days I got bored and thought of what to do, then a crazy idea came to mind, let's shoot beautiful pictures across the Lagos. I couldn't contain the joy. I went straight to Ikoyi where I hired a boat. Hiring a boat in Nigeria is one expensive thing, exotic boats are usually billed per hour. So I went for two hours and we set out into the beautiful Lagos coast LOL

Everything on water us totally different from land. Its peaceful at a point, at other points it gets crazy. So check out these beautiful pictures from the Lagos lagoon.

1. the Lagos Marina
2. 1004 Estates from the water side
3. The Oriental hotel
4. The Black Diamond Hotel owned by Mobil

I think you meant to say US high commission.
Their embassy is in Abuja not Lagos.

Great pictures
VillagePipu:
Consulate, not High Commission.
travelwaka was right. It was the former US embassy before the one in Abuja was built.

cool

when they call nigeria poverty capital or shithole they meant zamfara and ebonyi

..
Problem with you people is 90% never cross Ore in their whole life.
Ebonyi is 10 times richer than Osun and Ondo states.

lol!..."Consulate" or 'Embassy" do practically the same job.

The Embassy just have to be named or built in the Capital of a Country.

Brother Nigeria at all to be visited by African and Western tourists. Nigeria enjoys different climates, different flora and fauna; ... etc., but the bad reputation of this country makes foreigners who never take this tourist destination flee. I am from Burkina once a year, I go to Lagos, in my country, I have to lie that I go to Cotonou, because if I say that I go to Nigeria ah ah ah, my people will say that I became crazy. When I arrive in Lagos, my landlord does not even want me to go to the local market, I'm forced to go out and visit the neighborhood where I live. But I would like to visit Lagos as I visit Abidjan, Dakar, Paris, with all the beautiful pictures that you show in this section. undecided undecided undecided undecided undecided

Your attempt at being funny fell flat.
Maintain an oil rig on the Marina in Lagos?
You should talk to yourself about not getting too excited about misinformation and things you don't know about.
I said probably meaning i might be right or wrong, you can't find an oil rig where there's no oil well unless maintenance is been carried out on it. Of what use is an oil rig without an oil well.
Now someone has clarified that it was a bank collateral.
The op seems excited that a rig was in lagos that was the reason for my comment.

Nah..

Belongs to AMCON that acquired it from First Bank..

First Bank seized it and parked it at CMS when SeaWolf couldn't pay up on it N100bn debt.
Aiit, thanks

Nice share !

I am wondering what Riverine states like Delta state, Bayelsa state, Rivers states, Akwa Ibom, Cross River state are doing with their beaches and marine wonder.

Their governor are not taking advantage of nature gift to develop the nature wonder in their domain.

They think crude oil will last forever !

Wake up governors in the Niger delta region.
You dey mind those useless govt, most people in warri don't even know there's beach in warri.

US still see Lagos as the capital. They are just being Diplomatic for setting up Abuja office. Its not compulsory to site Embassy in capitals

Good one @ op. A very good experience and I will like to have similar tour as soon as pepper rest. cool

But Mr seun, I suggest you introduce a registration fee of at least 1k for any new registration of moniker. The free state of new registration is obviously being abused by some "very busy mech engine grad businessmen". Imagine, here are the monikers registered by just one human being within 8 hrs.

However, I will continue to bring to your notice any newly registered one by him pending when you review condition of registration.

Just few questions

Op
Which camera did you use to snap this pictures?

Did you take a picture of the canoe or boat?

How much did the boatman later collect?

Wow I love the pictures

Truly Lagos is a beauty to behold

It depends on the kind of boat. Most cruise boats are more expensive between fourty to hundred thousand per hour but banana boats are way cheaper you can just negotiate with the rider ,
Do you mean 4000 or 40, 000? Jesussss for just one hour? Haaaa

Two questions Op, where's the Lekki link bridge located exactly?
2. Why shouldn't Ajah be called an island
Lekki link bridge is located off Lekki phase one if you are coming from Lekki and Alexander if you are coming through Ikoyi.
