Not in the U.S. The prices are indeed slashed here as most of the stores especially Walmart dictate the prices NOT, the manufacturers.

Walmart calls the shot by agreeing to a certain price with the manufacturers, who (Walmart) then sell at their own quoted or final retail price. Same goes for Amazon and major retailing outlets.

You are very right my sister. I noticed it from the standing fan my husband bought on Tuesday. The price was higher than the normal cost price yet they were claiming 30% discount. Thieves.

I used mine to purchase a laptop online. I didn’t know about the deals nor cared. My fifteen year old workhorse needed a replacement not because it was faulty but because I had excess money lying around.

Exactly, people were busy calling their Friends not to bother themselves coming for the black Friday. That no slash in price.

The only favourable items there are drinks and Milo.

Infact, I saw people packing this 1 litre fanta like pure water, another guy with full package of the same thing just decided to check the expiry date, Lo and behold, fanta go expire on the 7th of December, 2019.
