That's my opinion, based on personal experience.

If you have a personal experience about this, kindly share it dear.

The only thing you were right about is that chemo is carcinogenic and the doctors never lie about that. Do you know why they have those effects on people?

If fruits and veg was the answer, vegans will never get cancer too.

Stop spewing ignorance please.

First of all, I’m sorry for your losses.

I administer chemotherapy. Yes I’ve seen many patient going through chemotherapy.

I do have a person going through cancer right now. And I wish we discovered early enough for chemo to be an option. Despite the downsides, I would choose it if it’s a viable option

I have seen the struggles. I don’t know where you are but in my neck of the woods, we use a lot concomitant treatment to alleviate the side effects of chemo. It doesn’t make it easy for the patients, but it helps in making it non-debilitating. Many of my patients go to work and live their lives between their chemo cycles

Only a few years for some (especially the older ones). While for others, they go on ahead to have a full life. It all depends on ones age at diagnosis, type of cancer, how many cycles of treatment, what type of treatment etc etc. it’s never one size fits all. The hardest side effects are ongoing forever. They have acute phases and then subside with treatment.

And that’s okay. You’re free to choose. As are all my patients. No one ever forces anyone to undergo such treatment. My job is to provide adequate education with all the facts laid bare and then the capable adult can make a decision on whether to go forward or not with the treatment.
Maybe your aunt was failed by her healthcare team and she wasn’t told if her type of cancer was worth the attempt to cure or not. Can’t speak to that without the facts.

You can’t just come on a faceless forum with half truths. It’s dangerous considering there may be people on here who might be in a position to undergo chemo currently or in their future.

Non-adherence to treatment is risky for patients and makes it more difficult for the care team to do their what for the patient. We don’t want folks cutting their treatment in half all of a sudden because someone authoritatively posts half truths on the internet as if that’s the full picture.

It is my opinion that chemotherapy doesn't work though.

If you would be honest, what's the ratio of your patients who survive and never develop cancer again to those that die of cancer after treatment?

In your opinion, would you say that we are winning the war against cancer?

I have seen people who treated their cancer successfully using alternative methods.

Hence, my confidence in alternative methods.

Doctors should be honest enough to tell their patients that the treatments they are getting will not cure their cancer.

That's the least doctors can do for their patients.

What is your opinion based on, madam?

I'm glad you say that chemo is carcinogenic.

In other words, if a person didn't have cancer before and they took chemotherapy drugs, they will most surely develop cancer.

So, how exactly do you expect that drug to cure them? Something that gives them cancer.

Are you aware that some patients develop new cancer cells in some other parts of their bodies after apparently haven been "cured" of their initial cancer which they took chemotherapy for?

We pray we never develop cancer. My opinion is that there are alternative means to better manage and even outrightly cure cancer other than being infused with a cancer-inducing drug.

That's my opinion. smiley

Rest in peace dear lady.

But OP, you didn't need to post her cancer pictures here. Disrespectful if you ask me.

That's not the memory of her that we want to remember.

Pls note

If you or anyone you know has cancer, undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy is not just a waste of money, you are subjecting your loved ones to terrible agony.

Chemotherapy is a carcinogenic drug. That means, it causes cancer, in and of itself.

Same thing with radiotherapy.

Not only are you dashing your money to hapless doctors who have never taken those treatments themselves, you are also ensuring that you or your loved ones eventually have a recurrence of the cancer or another type due to the drugs.

Your doctor should tell you how many people he has actually healed with the chemotherapy and how many of them lived beyond 5 years after use.

Your best chance is to drop all drugs and food types and subsist only on fresh fruits, fresh vegetables and clean water, and give your body the opportunity to heal itself.

Putting more chemicals in your body is not the answer o.

As if food are not chemicals.

Percentage of those who survive with surgery, chemotherapy and radiation is for sure greater than the percentage of those who don’t have any treatment at all.

What type of alternative treatment? I’m open to ideas.
Not saying it’s my place to go and steer patients towards alternative treatment but I’m keeping an open mind.

May her Soul Rest in Peace, Amen.
Please women, always examine your breasts especially before going to bed every night.
This is because it will help you to identify the signal on time.
Again, give your man the opportunity to suck your breasts, is one of the best way you can be saved from the danger of breast cancer.
Re: Bukola Iyabo Oshadare Dies Of Cancer (Photos) by cococandy(f): 3:48pm On Nov 30, 2019
No person who doesn’t have cancer would be advised to start taking chemo. How does that help your argument?

Except for methotrexate that’s used for rheumatoid arthritis and to abort ectopic pregnancies only a few chemo drugs are used for any other purposes but cancer care. And in that case, the benefits outweigh the risks.

If the persons in your family that developed cancer are all female and they all had breast cancer, there could be a genetic or environmental link worth looking into. You might want to look into that instead of conspiracy theories.

If you have an inferiority complex regarding your race, that would be your problem now, wouldn't it?

Your rantings here doesn't negate the fact that modern medicine is losing the fight against cancer.

Check the number of people who actually take chemotherapy and go into remission versus those that die despite taking chemo, radiation and surgery.

Don't come here to rant just because you want to sell drugs.

When you're opinionated on issues you know nothing about, it's pointless engaging you. smiley

It's simple science, catch the cancer before it blooms out of control. You can shove your opinion where the sun doesn't shine bro.

I know that most of you who have opposed my points have done so because your income is directly or indirectly tied to the amount of chemotherapy drugs you are able to sell.

Insinuating that something that causes cancer in and of itself is the best thing to fight cancer can only appeal to the ignorant.

Please don't reply me. I'm not ready to debate why your means of livelihood might actually be killing the people you are supposed to cure.
