Vengeance is an act of revenge taken for an insult, injury or other wrong. Vengeance is something that is backed up by the Devil or things others have done that has hurt our feelings, done something bad to our loved once, and lots more. The bible did talk about vengeance in a lot of books in both the old and new testaments. Vengeance makes people think that they will feel better after taking their revenge.

Most people ignored what was written in the bible about vengeance, that we should not seek vengeance that vengeance is of the lord. These were made clear in the book of Genesis when God declared Cain a wanderer he said if anyone kills Cain he will be avenged seven times over. God knows when payback time is right he would make sure that the wicked go unpunished so why, therefore, do we seek reprisal. Sometimes we see the people that did bad to us, some cheated us while others might have harmed us one way or another. And that very moment when we see them we feel that God doesn't care or we feel they shouldn't live for what they did, no, it's not so God knows everything even our innermost thoughts even before we make them. but God allows all these things to happen because he is not Human there is a reason behind everything he could see that we couldn't.
There are times when we question ourselves if God truely lives why does he allow all these bad things to happen, why would he let these Bad people, these kidnappers, thieves, rappers, killers, and many other people live when he could just say the word and they would all perish. But God has his ways, he has the reason he lets these bad things to happen God is giving them, us, to admit that we are wrong because for us to say someone is a bad person we are wrong because by saying that we are judging them which is also a sin to judge others.
In this world no one wants to admit that they are wrong even a rapist knows that what he is doing is wrong and yet he never stops doing them, but a day would come when he would either die in the act or get caught which shows that whatever we are doing today has a repercussion which we ought to consider before we do anything we should reconsider, think about the outcome, about the advantages and disadvantages of the decision you've made.

If someone hurts you as a Christian you don't need to take revenge you need to look for a way to motivate yourself with the phrase vengeance is of the lord, which will make you as a believer to calm yourself down and think of the way forward. Most people did what they did because of anger which would subside in a couple of days and they would live the rest of their days in regrets. People behave awkwardly sometimes in the sense that Bad people do repent of their evil ways and devote themselves completely to the Lord and become a practical Christian than most Christian. God is a merciful God and he gives us time to repent of our evil and turn to him with our whole life. But the problem is how long would he continues to give us time which means that we have to draw ourselves nearer to God, I know there are ma[color=#990000][/color]ny pleasures in the things of the world but why don't we seek God's kingdom first and be reunited with him on the last day.

I'm a strong Believer... Religiously and otherwise.

The ideal thing is not to revenge but in this world, if you are like that, people will take you for granted. So as for me, I won't revenge things that were done to me by mistake or if I see that the offender is truly sorry. Aside these conditions I will revenge fully or even double.
