It is an absolutely travesty of respect to come online and demote education graduates. I don't deny the fact that some people cannot defend their certificate but why calling those that had majors in education names. They have forgotten that it was a non education graduate that was not able to teach children Roman Numerals while undergoing NYSC. Now everybody is out to take teaching job with that fallacy that those that majored in education are not capable.

I want them to know that high level of unemployment is the reason why they have taken to teaching not that they are employed because education graduates can't do well. Enough of these arrogant stereotyping of education graduates. If I am indignant, it is because of the stereotype.

It seems you have forgotten we are in Nigeria, I've seen many NCE holders working in the hospital, once they get in, they go for some courses offered in colleges of health and move on. Have you forgotten how our politicians manoeuvre ways? They do push their loved ones into health sector with their SSCE, some with incomplete result!
Many NCE/B.ed graduate in so many governmental sectors, are they to be removed and back to schools?

I recall, once a state government conducted interview(oral and written) for recruiting teachers, the funniest thing was that, the 1st and 2nd position went to non-education candidates.

Oga English ����. Your arrogance will lead no where. Just admit to the fact that ministries of education(Federal, state and local) has condoled this nonsense for a very long time. And gradually the narratives is changing. If you wish to continue teaching, then I suggest you drop your over bloated ego and go get the license. Or better still go seek for employment elsewhere. You are even lucky TRCN asked you guys to get the TRCN license.

Even if you're Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe and Chimamanda Adiche all rolled into one, without that license my dear, you are still not a qualified teacher.

If you feel insulted by this, then do not hesitate to go back to obtain another degree BA.(Ed.) in English.
