He has no choice. He can try it in training. As it is now , it is either we continue to leak goals or find temporary solution which is AMN.
I don't think amn is the soln. He loses concentration, and as the last man b4 defence, That's dangerous cos it'll straight to back 4. Also, he's not that press resistant neither is he good at reading games. I prefer luiz or torreira there. But if I'm the coach, I'll use luiz as my 4/destroyer. He's good there, can initiate long pass for counter, and his aerial presence can help us in will the 2nd ball. I feel only him and torreira presently are my preferred choice as a destroyer

As in erh! When Xhaka and Willock plays rubbish he won't call them out but when it's Geun he is quick to call him out. As bad as Guen, Xhaka and Willock have been worse...Wetin concern me sef?
This case don't tire.

The boy no good, the boy this that. Yet he keeps getting picked by his managers. Obviously they see things we don't. Yet some people choose to castigate.

I know you left out guen intentionally grin
I hope lyunberg learn quick, his subs were late and torreira should atleast start in midfield if we will have some useless one with him

I think we do concede simply because our midfield offers no protection to the back four. This is because our MFs are ball playing and not destroyer type of DM.
How about we try AMN in the DM position.
1. He has the physique, pace and height. Though he sometimes lose concentration.

2. He will concentrate mainly on defending thereby freeing other MFs to enable them carress the ball wella ...Lolz

The other alternative is David Luiz . His long passes will also come handy but I don't know why I don't trust the guy.
Lack of protection, yes.
But personnel is not our problem here.

The problem is the team organisation. Our players lack the techniques in manning the midfield, and it is the fault of the manager.

You don't necessarily need a destroy every time you play, you only need players who understand the roles and keep to it.

Have you seen Ajax play? This is a team that is built on techniques and team understanding.

It is pitiable that despite consistent performances, people like sod and kokane refuse the give the lad a break. Ljungberg is here and still picked him. Lets wait till next match to see if he still gets pick ahead of others, cause sod and kokane cannot tell me they know more than the coach.

Mitland-Niles play 4 ? grin grin grin grin grin

Una no just like this team. Mitland-Niles is just not a typical EPL player. I've watched him for two years now and anybody who spots talent/potential when he sees one will know he's just not one. Any team that wants to qualify for top finish and possibly win a domestic cup will not field a player in the mould of Niles in its first 11 be it on the wings, in the middle or at the back.

Niles despite being young and seemingly pacy lacks awareness on and off the ball, he gets easily railroaded and lacks the intelligence that would've replaced his other deficiencies. His crosses are Abysmal and most times he just seem like he's occupying space not being used.

I'm sure any Arsenal coach(both the current interim and the future permanent manager) would not gamble and use him in the middle, it will end in tears.

Guy if don't understand my point you can always ignore, this boy failed in his primary duty the same with xhaka. Why playing the 2 together, torreira came in and saved us twice.
He's slow, can mark get tired easily all these xhaka have too so why will I praise some one that's not going his primary duty well or blame others for his misfortune.

The main point is that you don't have a say. So keep quiet.

Dude I didn’t see yesterday’s game and I can’t assess him under Ljungberg. But something happened differently yesterday Ljungberg had to pull him out at some point this conforms with what I’ve said that he doesn’t have the stamina to play for 90mins. That’s something Emery wouldn’t do.

Meanwhile this is a new manager with different approach everyone starts on a clean sheet and I usually give at least 3 matches before drawing assessments.

But any body could get pulled out and for varied reasons ranging from fatigue, knock, tactics, and so on. For stamina I may agree because he is quite young to bear the responsibilities of our midfield. But that shouldnt diminish his performance at all. It is the managers call to spot a player that has lost stamina. So using his being subed as a point won't hold for me. Besides yesterday's game was one of his best outings of which Jodera testified.

Until we get a decent midfielder and/or our senior players upgrade themselves, Guen remains our best midfielder so far this season.

Please Freddie, let's get back to basics. Let's go back to 4-4-2. I believe you have gathered the tricks and experience required to play the formation.

............ Auba ....... Laca .............
Pepe ... Xhaka ... Guen ... Saka
Tierney . Luiz .... Cham . Bellerin

This is a good formation sincerely. If only Xhaka would just be a defensive midfielder who will tackle to win the ball and not just be committing unnecessary fouls in delicate areas.
