Good Morning all

I'm an intern(programming) at a tech company, though with no prior knowledge of computer science(i studied human anatomy), and its been a beautiful experience so far. However, having started, we've been learning and learning but i feel we've not really applied it well(though, we do some assignments and all).I believe i'm very good with HTML, CSS and PHP, slightly with javascript. I wish to apply my knowledge in real situations(for now, practices) around and feel "among" other creative programmers around the world to share knowledge and all. Recommendations, advice, insights is what i seek here from successful "senior colleagues", Thanks and God bless as you comment with wisdom!

Its simple, start building applications that can solve real life problems.
Define your target market and your financial target(how much money you want to make).
Set deadlines for your projects(don't work aimlessly without directions).
You can merge with existing team or work independently.

Practice and make more web apps and also make applications that are groundbreaking and put it in your github repository if you have a github account if you don't have one join now. PS if you don't like open source like me you just have to manage for now it gets you attention lots of it.
