good evening everyone , this question is directed at xbeeo7,giles, henry240 and every other person, i am currently serving but my hopes of joining the DSSC Cadet of the Nigerian airforce was dashed when my HND result came below part from faults not really directed at me, (the School Backdoor ish), i had worked and hoped on a proper higher credit but got a lower with less than 2 marks off the higher threshold. 1 can i or do i still have a chance to apply for DSSC for the Nigerian Airforce despite the stated obvious on the requirement schedule ?, i am really passionate about NAF and i feel my dreams slipping of just like i coudnt fund my PPL and CPL pilot trainings when i got admissions in respective flight school in 2012 2. Minus the ARMY SSCC, what other military CO training options are available to me with the current tide and predicament . 3 please i need extensive advice and help. |

Ezugwu MRAP engineers should consider this view for the driver of the vehicle. To improve driver situational awareness.

Cannonleo:I can only speak authoritatively on Nigerian Navy DSSC because I once made it to the final screening in Ojo where only 2 people were finally picked out of about 16 of us from my state. During the recruitment application process, you will be asked to enter your class of result. First Class and Second Class Upper are strictly listed as the requirements for application. This means that people who entered anything lower than the requirements will be automatically screened out by the system. Some people lied during the registration but they were outed at the scene of the first recruitment test. At Mogadishu Cantonment where I wrote mine, for example, people who haven't completed their NYSC, and people who falsified their results were screened out. They won't check your results but the threat alone is enough to put the fear of God in you. So people voluntarily came out and were sent back home. The screening in Ojo, Lagos is the most rigorous of all. They will check all your results, FSLC, SSCE, HND, BSC etc. I think we spent a day two on that alone. So anything below the earlier stated requirements will be screened out. Even though at this stage, they won't immediately screened you out but you will be noted till the d-day. I think people that lied up to this stage were handed over to the police. Now, there is a story of a lady that made it to this stage with a second class lower degree although she managed to fool the authority that she had a First Class. They called her Mama Kwara in camp then. People said when you see her you immediately knew she was going to make it to the final stage cos there were very few ladies with her prowess, and the NN needed ladies. To cut the long story short, she was outed while in training because the Nigerian Navy went to her alma mata and discovered she actually graduated with a 2:2 not the first class she had claimed. But we all know the Nigerian factor. One of the two guys that were finally chosen, I swear his name didn't appear on the list. Although, he speaks my language but I still doubt he is even from my state. That is the power of knowing the right people in Nigeria. TL;DR Unfortunately, you can't apply for DSSC with a lower credit. |

SuperSixSeven:This is another good one. If they can you this, it would come of very good help for the driver. The Ezugwu is a good vehicle, but it still has a number of areas where improvements need to be done. |

For Canon There is a lot of competition to get into the NAF If you are determined to get into the NAF you will need to know someone as far up as a one star since you are a notch below the academic requirement. 2) You might want to devote yourself at least one year’s worth of learning how to speak French. They are needed. 3) You might have no choice to join the NA first then transfer if it is still allowed to the NAF . Don’t know if they still allow it. I can help you ask. |

mysticwarrior:Literally not what happened at all!!!!!! Go read the book Battle of Bangui by Helmoed Heitman(Jane's defence correspondent) and Military Analyst. South Africa sent 400 men on 2 operations Operation Morero: To protect president Bozize.... Which was achieved. And Operation Vimbezela: refurbishment of facilities and training of some FACA soldier...... Objective was also achieved. Around 200 SANDF soldiers where ambushed by more than 3000 Seleka combatants armed with dozens of technicals, mortars, 23mm cannons ect ect. After nearly 2 days of fighting SANDF soldiers suffered 13 casualties but inflicted over 800 on its enemy. It was in fact Seleka that raised the white flag and asked for a cease fire, seeing that they could not overrun our base. Seeing that Bozize was escorted out of the country to safety and thus the SANDF had achieved its objectives it was decided to honour the cease fire and withdraw from CAR. Nobody fled any battlefield as you falsely claimed |
