Ah! You do the talking keh? So you take the agent to the property that you want to rent? You seal up the mouth of the agent? Take yourself round the property? Discover and talk with the property owner by yourself? Pay into any account of your own choice? Issue receipt to yourself and tell the agent/property owner the terms and conditions.

The problem is even paying for a property you're not going to see, if it is house rent you are paying for, you can easily consult other existing tenants for more advice. But buying property from an agent is the most difficult thing.

These tips can only expose the novice ones... If you jam correct agent... You go know what's up Agents i fear them

I don't agree with this your write-up..I'm a real estate Consultant and in one way or the other I have used the methods you mentioned to close sales without lying to any of my clients.

For instance,how is it a lie if I mention the proximity of my property to great landmarks like the dangote refinery -

And yes there were times I have given my client honest review of my properties esp if they seek my opinion between 2 properties and I go thus- to be honest with you...( n I'm being very honest)

Lol. Very stupid post. I run one of the biggest agency in surulere, alot of people wants a fine house but they don't have money to pay for it and when they come they make it look like we re making it difficult for them to rent a fine house either hiding it away from them or hiking the price

Pls agents are not responsible for the kind of house u see, we don't do magic to produce apartments we simply show u what is available and ur budget level. U guys should wake up

This your write up is fallacious and untrue. There is no litmus test to know if an agent is lying. It all boils down to individual differences.

Some clients are difficult. Get this the agent wants to earn his commission but a lot of clients want a brand new house say in lekki phase 1 for 100k per year. It's only poor people that complain so much about agents because they want to live for free if possible.
