Who will protest against bad governance? Very few if any. No Northerner will do so against Buhari because of "my brother" mentality.

That leaves the South. Yorubas wont because their brother is no 2 man. Igbos would rather protest for Biafra than for a Nigeria they dont care about. As for the so called South/South, they are not united about anything except Oil

Nigerians have nothing that unites them, every section have their own yearning and agitation.

Nobody is going to come out and risk getting shot for a Nigeria they dont believe in

North just want their people in power they don't see poverty as a bad thing
They accept it as their destiny

Southwest are only silent because they hope buhari would hand over to them ...to them buhari can scatter the country as long as he hands over to south west
To them insulting buhari is working against south west goal to become president

The east complain they are labelled hatters and enemy of state

South south get what they think is enough money so they complain but not like igbos

So there u have it

Unfortunately, for some reasons our corrupt and inept leaders don't want any form of disintegration .

That's exactly my point, people have been deluded with tribalism that they can't reason beyond bias .

Many would rathet starve and suffer than to protest against their brothers in power, unfortunately the nonsensical tribalism is not only associated with the uneducated, it flows through the mind of people regardless of their level of education .

We have a long way to go and unfortunately we are yet to begin the journey .

Forget the British, they have left us for a while and it's high time we acknowledge that our current position is as a result of our doings and undoings .

They left us and 7 years later we were fighting ourselves, did the British do that ?

Because we Nigerians now see oppression as a way of life. We are too scared to fight against bad governance for fear of persecution. Sowore is still in prison. (though he committed a blunder by calling for revolution, but government should have obeyed court order) We thank God for Femi Falana is interested and involve in his case, if not Nigerians would have forgotten that there was some one called Sowore. Nigerians are not worth fighting for; They will always doubt your motive for your courageous act to fight against injustice ,they will call you an opportunist with all kind of names. You will call Nigerians to join you in a protest against bad governance or police brutality mba, they will not show up..only a handful will turn up to join you, 99.9% would rather be on social media making noise and fighting one another over stupid politicians.. We are cowards , gullible and too timid. We deserve the leaders that we have. We should all enjoy our oppression. So yes we like the oppression and we know how to dig into the wall when push to the wall.

We cannot forget what they did. They knew that putting different tribes in one entity leads to chaos because there is no way a white man would want a black man to succeed because they think we are inferior. There is no solution other than SEPERATION. we have different ideologies and cultural values. we are better of as friends from afar. its not hate but just natural human characteristics. no tribe or ethnic group would love to see their people flourish and grow. no one wants to be enslaved in another tribes culture or way of life. we were not created to be slaves to anyone of servitude to those who feel they are superior. that is the way forward. The british knew that if the groupings were with those who have similar cuture and speak with one voice how would they steal our resources to build their country?

This makes sense but trust me the British and European countries are barely responsible for the problems facing Africa .

There are many tribes and ethnicity across Africa, every tribe can't have their country hence the Integration of tribes into a structural country is only logical .

Besides, shall we conjecture less on whom to blame and channel focus on the reason we are still in this current position, the west have tampered the global economy making it difficult for African countries to emerge as economic strongholds, laughable enough, African leaders are not concerned about the economy whatsoever, all they care for is their pockets .

Our problem is our leaders, get sensible leaders and watch calls for disintegration reduced .

I've answered your question multiple times .
We can't protest because we are blinded by tribalism and we lack patriotism .

My friend you need to study more. if you know what these people did, you will hate whites for the rest of your life. unless you do not care about Africans. now let me ask you a question. These white people are much more advanced than we are and have been in a civilization for hundreds of years. why do you think that most European countries are homogenous? why cant france and england be one country? why cant germany and austria and switzerland be one country? because these are whites yes but they are distinct from each other. yes the African leaders are corrupt. but the ones that were not corrupt what happened to them like Thomas sankara? he was assasinated. now about your claim about looking for who to blame,i believe you are from the South. i am igbo. there are ways we behave as Igbo people which may loo offensive to other ethnic group but that is the way GOD created us. when others feel we have to be loyal in servitude that is complete nonesense. i do not know where you are from exactly but Igbos are NATION. i feel upset and sad that most educated southerners are not seeing the bigger picture. Nigeria cannot work even in a 100 years. our TALENTS and gifts are being stifled by the Northerners who feel that they are born to rule but have not put the work. they refused to o to school, they refuse to empower their people and at the end of the day WE all suffer for their non chalance atttude. let everyone go their seperate ways or agree on out own terms that we CHOOSE to be in the same entity. what we have is not a Nation but a PRISON. IF WE KEEP BELIEVING THAT THINGS ARE ALRIGHT THEY ARE NOT. WE ALWAYS RUN AWAY FROM DISCUSSING OUR FUTURE UNTIL THAT CRISIS THATWE ARE AVOIDING WILL BLOW UP IN OUR FACE AFRICA CANNOT BE GREAT IN ARTIFICIAL BORDERS. my people never agreed to be Nigerians it was forced. for once in our lives can we actually do things for our selves?? the WHITE MAN ISAND CAN NEVER BE GOD. THE ONLY REASON WE HAVE NIGERIA IS BECAUSE OF OUR OIL. BUT ONE DAY THE DAYS OF RECONING WOULD BE AT HAND.

name 10 countries in Africa with the same number of ethnic groups as Nigeria. or in the world. and i dont mean those who came from outside. then we can start from there.
