In 2014, if I can remember well, NNPC conducted mass recruitment, after CBT stage, successful candidates were sent interview invites... GEJ couldn't hold on to power... that was how the recruitment was cancelled.

I had the privilege to apply for NNPC this year in march... the recruitment process was initiated by the former GMD of NNPC while he was still in office... The process was fast and smooth... everything went well... Btw March and June, People were shortlisted for CBT... CBT held in early June... July, invites were sent to successful people for interview. I had the privilege to be among those who made it to the interview stage... Everything went smoothly.. morale was high... everyone was in high spirit believing by August final list would be out. The interview was held for close to 10 days or so as about 9000 people were invited for the interview out of which close to about 1300 people would be taken. During the interviews, the former GMD retired and handed over to the present GMD of NNPC.

As I speak at present, no one really knows what's going on at the nnpc towers with regard to the recruitment status. It's been 5 months now since interviews were concluded and we've not gotten any official statement from NNPC. We've only heard of several rumors. People are frustrated already.

The names of successful people have been filed and dumped in the shelf. Only God knows when they would visit that list again.
