Below are photos of the 40MW Dadin Kowa Hydropower project in Gombe State that has been completed.

The project will soon be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari, the State Governor, H.E. Inuwa Yahya disclosed it after inspecting it.

Wow this project was awarded during Shagari era. Over 30 year it just been commission. Nigeria is a huge joke I swear. Anyway Well done Buhari for restoring our infrastructure

Let's do away with centralized transmission. Each region has its peculiarity in power generation and should be allowed to generate and use their power. North has Solar and Water, South has Gas. I see no reason pipeline explosion in the south should affect light in the north or dam issue affecting light in the south. One fault in the national grid and the whole system collapses.

Each state should be allowed to generate their own electricity instead of depending on the nation grid.

But 40 megawatts is quite small for a state. Canaan land in otta generate 15 megawatts,
