my point is why can't we move forward why do we have to refer to ex players that when they were with us we show no sign of improvement, now they have gone we are still there.
I hope he won't come back in future to blame arsenal misfortune on sacking of Emery

Yeah, I wanted to talk about Sanchez sef when writing that but it skipped my memory along the way. Sanchez was so different from our players that I feel the players don't even get along with him at all. I heard he's one of the least loved arsenal player among his teammates even tho he was clearly our best player. Guess that's why he was fed up at arsenal.
To be sincere, I still doubt nuno, I dunno why. Not that he's not punching above his weight but I no just dey reason am. Lol.

If Pepe is back to his best, he'll be a better upgrade than iwobi, cos he'll guarantee goals that iwobi never guarantee and taking on defence just like iwobi. Why we dey shout iwobi for here since is that Pepe have not lived up to expectations. If only iwobi that's our runner last season, even as he's limited, and w/o a replacement is giving us trips, how much more a confident Pepe with sub like martinelli or saka (and Nelson too, I really hope he improves), coming from the bench. You'll just find yourself forgetting iwobi was even an arsenal player. That's why I said he's a replacement, but it haven't worked out yet
Sanchez really exposed the weak mentality he met in the squad, Bellerin and Walcott attested to this, that Sanchez waits after training for his personal session, can be too demanding and they found it annoying..
Imagine we had 3 of Sanchez strength and attitude that year, we could have won more than FA cup, even ozil would have had more fun and less work to do.

My brother, you better join the Nuno camp, cheesy the guy sabi scout mentally strong players, don't let it be when he wins Europa, qualifies for UCL and gets snapped by the Madrid and Man city.

On Pepe, until he gives us something similar or close to what we see at Lille, then he is just a French ligue star boy who got exposed in England.

My point is a player in a team fighting for relegation or relegated doesn't mean they can't be good for a top team

Seriously o, small small, we're just going down.
Surprising how we all started this season with optimism and hope for top 4, but Emery just scatter everything.
The fruits of Emery’s disaster have ripened. Remember, at one point, the argument was we were 1 point behind City and still maintaining top 4? Well, the chickens have come home to roost!

Oga we sold iwobi because he was toeing the same path Walcott toed. He was dishing out inconsistent performances year in your ar out.

We've had this talk before. We didn't lose a gem letting Iwobi go. At least he's not proved us wrong till now. Iwobi is gone and that's that. We even got good money for him.

Let's support the players we have now and watch them blossom

I remember vividly how their Walcott found it annoying that he's demanding. It was really really Surprising reading that then.

Mehn, no worry, wen arsenal sign nuno, na your hope I go use support am. grin

I still believe in pepe sha, 22goals 11 assist at lille is not something to joke apart o. Even if na something close to that, no problem at all. As long as nobody improve under Emery, then I still believe in pepe

as in I remember o.
It's just sad that he even left this squad without identity and confidence
All the players confidence was just low.
Hopefully we hope to see a better arsenal again

It'll continue to pain me until we have someone who runs at defenders, open spaces and changes game from bench with strength and agility.

For now our attack fr0m LW is dead, we rely on kola and Tierney to attack and defend on the left.

Selling Iwobi is no issue, but not replacing him with someone better.

Arsenal vs Liverpool off the bench
Arsenal vs Chelsea Baku off the bench and more, at least we could see some stuffs from the LW.
Martinelli is the only hope there.

You just defined an inconsistent player by yourself, it's like saying find the probability iwobi will make 10 assists this season

How many of our players were good and consistent last season? They aren't more than 3/4.
Iwobi was among the few good among the bad bunch, we sold for money dazzal.

It does not negate the fact that the log standing at that time was not a true reflection of our team performances.

True.
But then we were 4th. You can't sack your manager if you are fourth and the season is just starting.

Nwanne, you make a good case if the team played cohesively and with a purpose that was sustainable. During the period we were 4th and 1 point behind City, we played atrocious football that lacked any identity, it was quite glaring that we could not even muster any offense and that has brought us to where we are now. If we were 4th and showed some promise on the field, that would make your argument agreeable but we were the opposite. We could barely string 3 offensive passes, we were blunt in the final 3rd with confused players and don’t get me started on then back 4. These issues were glaring last season and I was done with Emery by the end of last season because these issues did not just show up this season.
