Guys, I've been keeping eyes on Brighton's CB Lewis dunk..let's see what he's made of compared to our CBs.
What can be worse than the 2 senior clowns we parade every game day?

Mehn...
Ljumberg and willock again?
Let's hope willock impresses
Somebody said Ljumberg was part of Wenger and Emery so no expect anything different cheesy

I don't understand diamond formation, what happens to wing play?
Martinelli, Pepe and Niles will strech them, witg crosses from Bellerin and Tierney, then let the midfielders recycle possessions...

Now see how Bellerin and Kola will suffer in this match, Auba will be stressed and everything will look hard.

Nwanne, you make a good case if the team played cohesively and with a purpose that was sustainable. During the period we were 4th and 1 point behind City, we played atrocious football that lacked any identity, it was quite glaring that we could not even muster any offense and that has brought us to where we are now. If we were 4th and showed some promise on the field, that would make your argument agreeable but we were the opposite. We could barely string 3 offensive passes, we were blunt in the final 3rd with confused players and don’t get me started on then back 4. These issues were glaring last season and I was done with Emery by the end of last season because these issues did not just show up this season.
Nwanne I totally agree with you. But when we come to judgement/evaluation its the Key Performance Index that matters. His KPI was first to be/finish 4th place.

His team was playing badly no doubt, I called it grinding out results with hope things will improve. I guess those were the same thoughts the board had until recently.

If a student KPI is to finish first in his class, his actual score though while important cannot be used as a measurement for evaluation as long as he took first position.

Lacazette's shirt has been pulled, tugged and nearly torn at least 3 times in the box now. I'm sure VAR is not being used for this game. undecided

We’ve not recycled possession so far and we’ve spent more time in opponents half with more attempts and more possession.

Same as Auba on the flank, push Ozil to 10, try Pepe in this setup on the right

Bellerin has lost his pace since that injury. Perhaps he has added weight.

The officiating has not been favorable thus far, but then our players can do better. We shouldn't be relying on penalties to win at home against 4cking Brighton.

Willock should be taken out of this game, pepe introduced and Auba should be moved to CF.
Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by iamoyindamola(m): 10:05pm On Dec 05, 2019
Remove willock and put Pepe
These guys are low in confidence, Leno keeping us in the game

we blame officiating for everything, our players are not helping either.
It's going to be a longgggggg season, we better concentrate on Europa if we no relegate na small go remain

The only positive in this game has been the sharp movement something ain’t just ticking yet with our build up in attack.

This is the first Ljungberg game I’m seeing with Arsenal, fingers still crossed

According to fans, Ozil,Auba and Laca upfront and you must be blowing teams away.

Pass, pass and pass, no one is threatening from either wings and the middle.

Brighton have men bossing and slicing through our middle and wings, ball possession stats says it all

we need wingers with this kind of fast movement, imagine Pepe in auba position and auba in lacazette position

The fans u are referring to aren't expecting Auba to be playing on the right wing. They expect Auba as CF, ozil playing behind, pepe on the right wing.

I wasn't blaming the officiating, just stating the obvious. Lacazzette was pulled 3 times in the box without the ref taking a decision, that Brighton player was pulled once by Bellerin outside the box and a freekixk that nearly scored was given

Leave him,

This has been our best game play in EPL this season that I’ve seen. We are not there yet but u can clearly see what Ljungberg plans to achieve not that drab performance week in week out by Emery.

You no see your screen? They had more possession
Relying on Auba/laca may give you goals but it'll be drab football.
We looked better when a winger came on.
