Good day Blessed Mummies.!
Please, should I be worried?
I have been TTC for 4months now.
Aged 31.
About a year and half ago tho, I discovered I have fibroids. And I have ever since been using combo, and going for check ups.
In almost all of the check up sessions(before I got married ), I was always told the tumors shudnt be an hindrance to conception.
Below is the Scan result I had in October.

A bulky size uterus in anteverted position-122×116×91mm in L×T×AP
The endometrial plate appears normal in thickness.
Multiple missed hypoechoic @ the posterior intramural ---47×37mm, posterior midline 70×65mm in size.
Also at d anterior upper segment within the uterine---
62×62mm, 49×43mm, 37×31mm in size.
Both adnexea are bilaterally free.

Thanks for your concern.!

It didn't work oh. Look at the gap of time, when I took it and when I finally conceived. It might have worked for some but it didn't work for me. God did it by his mercy. My dear just keep praying, playing with kids, you and hubby can go visit orphanage.
Whenever there is children Thanksgiving in church go and put offering with them. Sow in kids project in church.

I went to Redemption camp the August Convention of this year. I keyed into everything, Pst Adeboye told us to listen and I did. And I claimed two prophecies, he made I even wrote them down; my case will be settled during this convention and this month I will sing a new song. After the convention, I knew my prayers had been answered. On the 10th of September I tested Positive.

That's my testimony.
Glory!!!

Hello mamas/papas in the house. Great job with this thread...I have been on this thread for sometime now but I am seriously considering going for an IVF because it seems like my best option right now.

I got married in mid 2016 and hubby and I were apart for a year. But we have been together for over 2 years now but nothing...never been pregnant even once. Anyways, we started seeing a reproductive endocrinologist recently and he is suggesting IVF. DH's sperm analysis showed low motility and zero normal shaped. He has also had one testicle removed and an hernia surgery. The doctor said he is not so worried about the motility because he can help improve that but that the absence of any normal shaped semen is his fear.

Now, we are in the US and IVF is crazy expensive here but dh and I have decided to take a loan or whatever and do it (apart from the sperm issues, we are both AS and were planning to do Amniocentesis or something along that line). However, now since we have not even been able to conceive, we think we will be killing two birds with a stone (very expensive stone though).

My questions then are:
1. Would the issue of having no normal shaped semen not also affect the success rate of the IVF
2. Has anyone on this thread (or anyone you know) done IVF in the US? Need to ask some questions
3. Any general advise for me and my issues

Welcome mama, other sabi mamas will say one or two things to you once they are online. meanwhile, try natural methods like fruit and healthy eating for your hubby, no smoking, no drinking and no placing of his laptop on his thigh, he shouldn't drive long distance too or anythung that could cause heat or discomfort to his scrotum. And I believe in miracle sha.

Why not advice herself? If she could advice herself she won't be here.
She knows it's a big problem, hence why she's seeking for a solution.
You guys should learn how to be empathetic in responding to people here. What people are going through is heart wrenching enough, and your kind of sly comment is only doing more harm than good.

No offence sis,but your response was kind of harsh,I believe the poster already knows it's a problem, and her mistakes as well, hence ,why she brought it here.
I also believe this group is all about giving one another listening ears and helping in whatever way we can.

And, you don't consider this "harsh"
All she did was seek knowledge, as regards a pressing issue for crying out loud!
Pls, at least try to sound loving when people under pressure/with troubled heart tender their case(s).
It helps a whole lot.

Hello , beautiful mothers of children,I was going through the pages of this thread and I could see some really interesting times, when people were sharing their stories, encouraging one another and helping one another in whatever way,but the reverse seems to be the case now.
It seems a lot of mothers are depressed,I also saw af few days ago, despite all my efforts, last month,I just felt,so this year is gone again,I cried myself to bed ,if crying could bring babies,I should have a truck load by now.i was asking God why He created me in the first place to go through this hell called TTC.ohhhh,I cried,my husband said you this woman, don't kill yourself.
But guess what sisters,we have to be strong,my mum was telling me that, you will surely have children, but don't allow another illness set in that you will now be nursing when you have your bundles of joy ,it isn't easy.,I know but God knows it all.
I just want us to keep encouraging one another ,let us think of many ways we can make this thread interesting at least for this Christmas period, let us give ourselves some challenges,on this thread, new innovations, let us make ourselves happy, believing God that by this time next year,we shall be carrying our bundles of Joy.
I want the Sabi Mama's to bring up some interesting ideas, one thing I have realized is that crying and brooding will do us more harm than good.
Baby dust to us all.

Kai! Mama, this comment is mean. She knows the implications of both of them being AS and is trying to find solution. Instead of helping her, your comment would only end up compounding her problem. If you didn't have an answer to her question, you should have just read and continued scrolling. This thread is the place where some of us come to pour out our hearts. Don't chase people away, please.

May God bless us all.

Mama you will carry your baby next year. I remb when I used to cry myself to sleep. And I would wake up in the morning and felt like the bad dream had followed me to the next day. Mummy the Living God I serve, will give you your hearts desires. Claim your children, name them. Pray with their names and most of all believe. Never doubt God for none of his children is meant to be barren or without child. I will put you in my prayers, all of you. God bless you all.

For those interested, today is a Special and last PMCH of the year at MFM headquarters, 13 Olasimbo Street, Onike, Iwaya, Unilag second gate, Lagos. Time is 7am today. The General Overseer ministration starts around 9am. It's a fasting and praying program. If you can find your way there please do. Go with two bottles of olive oil, as the G.O will be praying on them. You can decide to use the anointed oil to rub your tummy and Hubby's privates after. Pray as you are rubbing and ask God what you want and you will receive whatever you ask in Jesus name. Amen.

For those who may not be able to make it to the headquarters or branches close to them, you can watch/connect online/YouTube live. Remember to get two bottles of olive oil as the G.O advised/instructed. Or any oil you can afford, don't just go empty handed. He will be praying on them. With God nothing is impossible..just believe.

Yes dear, it is true that you can conceive with fibroids but it depends. If you have large and multiple fibroids (like you do)and trying to conceive it is better you remove them to improve your chances of conception, as fibroids can change the shape of your uterus and make it hard for implantation/conception. Fibroids can also block the passage of sperm or fallopian tubes thereby stopping conception.

But with God all things are possible.. fertility blessing

Madam with ivf, they can have babies that are not sicklers. They are some selection that will be done during the process to avoid having ss babies. Dont blame them for that, they already have other issues.

@engrsarah you can get more info from this group on Facebook pcos and ttc support group ( they are mostly American ladies there who have done ivf in USA and also issues like your hubby's own). Also visit a fertility specialist . I wish you the best.

IVF can be done using your egg/your husbands sperm, Donor egg/husband sperm, and your egg/ another man's sperm. And Usually, the donor egg is that of a lady with genotype AA only,so you can go for the IVF using a donor egg or donor sperm.
