Did you see the right hand from klistchko that almost sent AJ down even at that age. Am hardly use power punches, he only uses his jabs. When he meets a warrior fighter who does combo. (The likes of earnie shavers which wilder is even taking after with his throwing power, AJ will be completely like a fish out of water.). Check Earnie shavers vs Larry Holmes fight in the 1960s and u will see how many times Earnie dropped the big man.


My point is AJ rely more on jab and that won't take him any close to touching Wilder, Ortiz or fury. He can get chisora or takam that way since they are both boring fighters.

Aj have bout better opponents and had more belt. How come wilder ain't fighting those ones with the other belts. He should forget purse, fight Aj he is saying they are paying him less. Am can never get such landing on Ortiz with those boring jabs. And am not mentioning those jabs just coz of this fight. Check all his fight he hardly use or throw power punches. He rely on jabs and getting points from shifting the head to the back. If he meets a counter puncher, AJ will be completely flawed.

To be honest. Ruiz did not even derseve the first match with AJ. That is why upsets are annoying. It is unfair for another boxer to work their way up by fighting every known professional out there to win the belts. Then one unknown fighter comes around and takes the belt. The only worthy boxer Ruiz fought in his career before chalenging AJ was PArker.

It happened with Tyson and Buster Douglas. Too. Tyson was looking ahead at beating Holyfield, then Douglas caused an upset.

Ruiz will have to work his way up now like everyone else. That s what Hearn indicated tonight. He is looking for a trilogy and it's not gonna happen. He should use the earning from this fight to develop himslef, get a better trainer and restart his career.

Guy what are you doing? Did you even read what he said or you have a problem with comprehension? There is nothing wrong with his comment and, especially, nothing at all to warrant the name-calling and tribal slurs you've been slinging with disturbing abandon. Even if he said he wanted Ruiz to win, isn't he entitled to his opinion?

AJ has once again proved all naysayers and haters wrong by showing he's a complete and master boxer capable of changing tactics and style to achieve his goal. Boxing goes beyond one power punch. By neutralising Ruiz's punches, he's shown he's a good and adaptable boxer and those belts didn't come on a platter of gold.

While Ruiz relied on the same tactics he used in the first fight and even added extra weight, thinking that would do the job, AJ was both mentally technically better. Not taking anything from Ruiz though because he has shown he's a fearless warrior.

The fight was boring of a truth but that's part of the strategy for AJ and Ruiz knew this before the fight. He knew AJ would box him round the ring and he had said it was his job to stop him from doing that but the fact that he couldn't stop him or land a defining punch shows that AJ is technically very sound.

Ruiz promised to end AJ's career but could he? As for those saying AJ didn't fight, I wonder what they would be saying now, if AJ had lost this second fight on unanimous decision.

The thread new page was faster than i could read and catch up. Before i finish reading 4 pages, there are 10new pages.

I watched the 1st round live stream but the link just stopped. I never got a working link again and decided to go with the updates.

I feared for AJ because of the speed of Ruiz punch. I knew if AJ makes a mistake, it will be KO. AJ studied Ruiz very well and took advantage while avoiding the speed punch.

I watched round 1, I feared AJ will get KO. AJ new he will be KO if he lets Ruiz close and he managed to keep the distance.

Ruiz is great, I give it to him but AJ has what it takes to win.
