Good evening

I opened the hood of my corolla 2010 car today and found out that the radiator coolant in the reservoir is empty.
1) Do I just top up the coolant or do I need to totally flush and replace it.
2) What brand of coolant should I use

Thanks so much
Top th coolant if it drops within a short period then u have a leak.
OEM recomends toyota super long life coolant.

Doesn't really matter what oil you use anymore.
Since the smoke is constant, it's probably from your rings. Engine is on its last legs.
Either you overhaul engine, change rings and start using recommended oil or you wait till this engine knocks, install toks engine and sin no more.
Forget all those people that tell you oil is oil. Your manufacturer wasn't stupid to specify 5w20 or 30.
When you do either of the above, use what is specified and enjoy your smoke free car.
I contacted one engineer nd he told me that it is better to change rings cos the engiene is still good aside smoking, than buying fairly used engiene that may not be as good as my own. What is your opinion, can I get tokumbo engiene that can work with my AC normal

another question please. It was serviced a month ago with a wrong engine oil. I have not used the car since then though, as I am out of town. When changing the oil do I need to also change the filter?

Good Day house,

I intend to travel with my 07 Camry to the east. I changed the gearbox in 2016 December which was also the last time I changed the oil. There has been no issue whatsoever with the box since then.

Is it advisable I change the oil again or just travel with the same oil? Most mechanics around me are saying I do not need to change the oil but I feel it is old enough and needs to be changed. Also, can I still use T-IV?

Please advise.

Thank you in anticipation.

I believe there's no harm in changing the filter since you are changing the oil. I could be wrong tho. my take

Oga Gazzuzz, Morning Sir,

Please help oo. 1999 Tacoma, the power steering oil keeps disappearing after the power steering pump was changed and leakages fixed.

It was discovered that the engine oil is now over full.

Seems the ATF is going into the engine oil. Everyone seems helpless now.

Thanks boss. My mechanic said same too but just doesn't get where the ATF is going. All the pipes the pipes that connect to the steering rack are dry and tight.

It's going into the booth. It will manifest it self when it is full.

Brace up for a new steering rack

Thank you Sir. Where is the booth? And I can place why the engine oil is over full. We did the servicing few weeks ago and it was OK.

Procedural error. Somone poured oil into engine.
Reminds me of a c320 i sold. Came with a bad compressor. When the kazeem was trying to loose radiator, the transmission oil line connected to radiator got loose and there was transmission oil everywhere.

When it was time to refill, kazeem poured 5 liters of transmission oil into engine ( where engine oil is being gauged). Car refused to move but revving high cos there is no oil in transmission. Engine was running but Bonnet was extremely hot. Not until i stepped into the car and i saw a red warning light flashing at me from the instrument cluster REDUCE ENGINE OIL

Car had to be towed to a proper mechanic, engine oil was drained, new oil for both engine and transmission, and boom everything works fine.
I don learn.
