Nope. Overturning means that the appeal court has examined the judgment of the lower court n found it lacking.

This means that Abians will be one senator short. They are the real losers here, while OUK stays in prison and keep collecting allowances and salary and yet not doing anything for his senatorial zone.

They should initiate a recall for him, so that new elections can be conducted for the zone.

That's how law operate everywhere in the world.
A person is convicted then he or she can appeal. There was this story in Georgia U.S.A who was convicted of a crime he didn't commit. It took his legal team 10 years to prove his innocence.
