However as at the time of scheming , he was very influential at the Lagos House of Assembly and commands huge followers (Mostly cultists and Street urchins).

According to the new act, it is only an incumbent deputy governor of the CBN that can be the chairman of the board of AMCON. Consequently, Muiz could no longer continue as the board chairman and Edward Adamu, CBN deputy governor was nominated to take up his position.

This is an extremely ignorant claim. Adamu Edward remains CBN deputy governor. The new AMCON act provides that only a CBN deputy governor can chair the corporation’s board. That Edward is now the chairman of AMCON’S board doesn’t mean he will lose his position as CBN deputy governor.

A good example is Godwin Emefiele who was also appointed as a board member of FIRS. That he’s now a board member of FIRS doesn’t mean he will stop being CBN governor.
