Punch Newspaper is right in addressing this administration as a ' regime'..

All shades of 1984 is back in full force..

Maybe we should expect ' Decree 4' in disguise now..

It is not well with Nigeria!

Not at all....

What do you think that social media and hate speach bills are ? Compare the intent in the 80s and now then you will see it's decree 4 all over

Interesting
According to PUNCH, its Buhari regime. Nice. Also, add Major General Buhari, it would be nice too.
Other print media also need to be bold and publish theirs.

Buhari is a mistake

I dont think so. No serious country make mistake of who become the President. It's those that voted for him that is the mistake.

They keep shouting that the government is bad, but I made it in 2016 after graduating from the uni in 2011.

You do realize the part in bold makes absolutely zero sense, yes??!... How does your making it (whatever that even means) correlate with the effectiveness of the present regime, especially in the face of millions faring far worse??!...

Please, what school did you graduate from in 2011??!... I need to write NUC. undecided

Every journalist/blogger should be concerned.
Expect wahala for Punch for speaking out soonest.
Even if sowore is a con-artist with no real intention but attention and opportunity, what's at stake outweighs his personality, as always, is good leadership and we all have a role to play.

Government policy contributed to my success. Next...

I have equally done well for myself... But, that doesn't make it right to pretend or act like all is well with the country, especially in the face of tyranny, economic decline, decreased presence of investors, increasing taxation with no visible development, etc...

The issue under discourse is one that affects all... the nation is being made a laughing stock among nations due to disregard of judicial directives... Sowore's case is just one too many.

People bickering at Sowore like they never made a wrong turn in their lives.

At least of all the million Nigerians that voted the dictator, even you, he's lived up to righting the wrong by speaking out.

Mind you, pre 2015 general elections, Nigeria was a mess and Jonathan wasn't in full control.

In retrospect, though, he is better than Buhari. At least he had full regard for the rule of law.

That part above makes no sense na... Jonathan did worse to himself than Sowore could ever have done... If the Otuoke man had taken a cue from his predecessors, and led the nation properly and even a little less corruptly, Sowore would not have had much arsenal to tackle him.

Maybe you don't understand the concept of democracy (I sense most of you Africans don't have a clue)... Donald Trump is facing faring far worse in the hands of the press than Buhari and his morons are, yet how many of them are in jail or being persecuted in any form??!...

You guys should wake up and start using your brains. It won't hurt, I promise.

if u asked the idiot now how much he made it might be one "tashere" change, there are people who made a hundred times of what he made but are still speaking out against the oppressive tendencies of this dictatorial administration.

You won't understand, I am not hailing Buhari and his government for the incarceration they carried out on sowore. I condemn it with all sincerity. But sometimes it's optimal to be rational and speak the truth with conscience. He did help to bring Buhari to power by using his media outlets, now he is facing it because by then he thought he was doing Nigerian good. In life two things are involved. Either you enjoy the good or you face the bad. This will teach him lessons. He went ahead to call for revolution and attempt to take over the government. But since this is a bailable offense he should be released. Lesson learned in a hard way...
