So many people about to die..I'll rather stay on land where I can control things

grin grin grin You can control a container from falling on your car or bus in Lagos? You can control a petrol tanker of LT commercial bus that just had a break failure from running into you? Just be grateful for every day you go out and return.

it was built by MTN not LSG but in collaboration with LSG also to be managed by them for a particular number of years before full transfer of ownership to LSG same as the new car park being built. more like BTO . please always confirm from your sources. lagos state on this issue is just audio noise

Thanks for your comment. However, you do note that I said "jetties", referring to more than one. Except you are suggesting that MTN built all the jetties in Lagos. Most of them are being built through public-private partnerships ant LASG is very much involved.

Just like d LNG passenger boats... Nice idea UBER

On those NLNG boats you won't even know you are on water. I've never understood why they have a ban on the use of mobile phones during the journey

what's this mumu saying? who is praising Tinubu
pacespot:

This mediocrity has to stop, what does tinubu have to do with uber, does he own the company? Nigerians singing praises with the wrong chorus, instead of hailing uber for their initiative, you're here posting the picture of tinubu. This is why your leaders treat you like trash because you don't know when to praise and when to criticize. The other day, someone was praising obasanjo for bringing mobile telecommunications to Nigeria, what a shame sad

There's no business of government in business

Point of correction, Lagos is improving everyday. All thanks to uber idea. The state govt actually lacks this initiative. If they don't know what to do, others would teach them from outside.

Good. The private sector needs to provide solutions to problems affecting a country. Nigeria needs more creative entrepreneurs.

You don't grow an economy by depending on the government for everything. Most people don't know that the private sector (billionaire businessmen) built the London underground and overground rail lines.
The government too should provide the enabling environment for. business to thrive .... how much is interest rate in london and Nigeria , what is the inflation rate in london and Nigeria and what is the cost of manufacturing those boats in london and Nigeria...

Now, if the government should do their jobs , you don't tell private sector what to do ... if you see an opportunity to render service at a margin , you will jump at it ......

Sorry to burst your bubble bro, If you live in a desolated slum and vent your anger and blame on the Government doesn't mean its same for every one. On the contrary, i have great power supply and excellent roads and services around me.

I live in one of the expensive private estates in Lekki phase 1 Lagos (which I still consider a slum ) but you I know your place is worse off

What environment? There was no electricity when the London underground was built and a large part of the city was a slum; infested with poverty and crime.

People sit up and build their country. Sector by sector. Our major problem is that Nigerians make excuses too much. Nobody will fix problems for us.

Every other state in Nigeria is a shithole and a waste of resources.

Through evil conspiracy they site functional seaports and international airport in one state which of course should naturally attract x100 of what is presently on ground in Lagos and you are here making no reasonable sense
What happened that other regions especially in the south should not have functional sea and airports
What on earth can justify this glaring conspiracy

If you are talking about improvment pause and compare Nigeria with her mates like India, Brasil, malaysia, south Korea etc

Wow

#Nigeria. Uber boats for commuters in Lagos started running today. The ride hailing service is being piloted for 2 weeks. About 4K people travel by boat into the city daily (source:Waterways Passengers Assoc) to avoid getting stuck in its notoriously slow rush - hour traffic.

These ferries above are NOT Uber Boats, but LagFerry boats bought by the Ambode administration...
Nonetheless, Uber Boats was launched and has been operating since October (N500 between Falomo and Ikorodu).
