According to a twitter user, many die in a fatal motor accident involving Peace Mass Transit Company and G.U.O Motors along Benin-Ore road.

All 18 passengers die in this Peace Mass Transit Accident. It is yet another season for this firm. If you must travel avoid them.

That road has claimed the lives of millions of Nigerians. I remember when I was going to Lagos in 2014 and witnessed nothing less than eight fatal accidents on that day.

That is why I detest travelling by road, you are left at the mercies of the driver , who might have drank enough alcohol before he drives
The road transport sector should be regulated like the airways, but who will do it, when most leaders fly always.
Just imagine people dying via the carelessness of someone else.

Thousands of lives, most of the accidents are actually avoidable if people drive less recklessly.

I remember some years ago, I went to the park of Okeyson Motors to waybill a parcel, so I was asking for the driver and a young man came forward that he was the driver, as we were talking, I could perceive alcohol oozing from his mouth, I just said within myself that so this is the person that will drive these people to the East. I just shook my head and did what I wanted to do and left.
All these transportation companies need to be checking their drivers before allowing them embark on any journey.
Another safer option is driving yourself.

Thats it, but who will check them, most of them are on franchise, and do as they like, thats why even if I am to go by road , I use ABC, At least, they are a bit regulated.

Until we loose some of our political leaders, major road contractors executives, etc before govt will start taking our roads seriously.

This is a very sad news to me. I pray God to give the families of the dead the divine fortitude to beat this great unexpected loss. Amen

Pmt is a death trap for a transport company. Even if we want to totally ignore the patterned diabolical yearly blood fest, you need to see how razz and reckless their drivers are.
